My favorite dessert spot ever. You will have to see the amount of points in my reward account to understand my love for this store. Whenever I walked in the store, the coconut milk fragrance brought me right back to Vietnam. Chè is my fav dessert, so I am so happy that this store make chè in a pretty authentic way to make me feel less homesick.
This exact Bambu in Milbrae is my fav. I think they make the dessert better than the other location near Stonestown Galleria in SF. My go-to order is number 10 Bambu Special or something like that. The chewy pandan jelly and the red water chestnut jelly in number 10 is the best combo

Tasty vietnamese desserts. Staff are knowledgeable about how to make items vegan and many things are automatically vegan. Got the red bean trio which was really tasty, liked the different textures. The pandan jelly was good and not artificial tasting at all. The taro in it added a nice creaminess. Also got the choco banana smoothie with soymilk which was good.

Chè isn’t overly sweet, which I love, and it’s perfect for those who prefer their desserts less sugary. My friend and I tried numbers 2 (bambu combo) and 4 (summer delight) from the menu. They might not be the most popular choices, but they were still really good. The flavors were authentic and satisfying. The place has a good vibe, making it a nice spot to chill and enjoy some dessert.

Absolutely delicious watermelon and lychee drink that I unfortunately forgot to take a picture of. They have a 20% discount Monday through Friday between 3 and 5 PM. If you want a slightly better deal, perhaps you can go to ring the happy hour. Otherwise, my regular size drink was $6.75.

Inattentive workers with zero customer service. The number of customers lost who were tired of waiting is not good for business. Took my business down the street to Tea Hut instead. Please do better.

Wonderful boba spot. Just got a regular green tea to take a meeting and attend a virtual class. Really great wifi and strong tea.

I ordered black sugar milk tea and expected something similar to the image on their menu. This is what I actually got. It just tastes like regular old tea with some milk in it. Very disappointed.

GREAT SWEET VIETNAMESE DESSERTS – I got the Chè #4 yesterday. Very fresh, tasty, not too sweet. I will definitely stop by in the future whenever I go to Milbrea. Just a couple of suggestions: the mung bean pasted should be softer and blends better to make the chè smoother. I could not taste the coconut milk that is the main ingredient of most chè. In fact, we should have more coconut milk and less aga aga. Other than that I do enjoy all the grass jelly, aga aga, and little bits of red and green flour. The open space is nice, clean with simple decor. It’s easy to relax and enjoy the drinks there. The price is very, very reasonable. The portion quite generous. Yes, I happily offer this place my Five Stars.

We had such wonderful time hang out at this dessert place, the other dessert didn’t opened by Google hour so we all went to Bambu.
Everything is on the not sweet side, even though though the dessert is not amazing but the atmosphere is quite awesome.

There was a long wait before anyone came out to take our order. In addition to that our order was inputted incorrectly and we were provided no refund. We had ordered two #10 but we’re given #1 instead. When we informed the staff that the drinks were not what we ordered although they told us that we had made the mistake of ordering the wrong drink.
They did remake them for us but they would not refund us for the price difference . Their reason was that they had already made the more expensive drinks and that we should check the receipt next time and take it up with corporate. They did not apologize for their mistake and was extremely rude. Will not be going back again.
