I tried this place because of the article in the Sun Sentinel on the best Chinese food takeout places in South Florida. This place is mainly take out as there really is no inside seating to eat. I ordered a small pork fried rice and an order of the BBQ spare ribs. I thought the flavor of both things I ordered was good. The fried rice could have used more protein, and while the spare ribs had a good sauce/flavor, I wasn’t a fan of the meat on the ribs. Despite all that, it seems like good spot for take out Chinese food. If I happen to be in the area, I would try it again, with a different entree. They have all the traditional condiments and flatware set up to grab as you need when you leave with your order. They also put out fortune cookies for you to grab with your order.

Located in the Westcreek Common Shopping Center, Bamboo Wok serves up a vast variety of Hunan, Szechuan, and Mandarin cuisine. Upon entering, I greeted a male employee behind the counter and placed an order for a pint of house special fried rice. The food was prepared really quickly, and it was cooked to satisfaction. Filled with tender pieces of roast pork, chicken, shrimp, onions, and peas. It wasn’t greasy or salty.

The person who ansrwerd the phone sounded as if he was half asleep and disintersted in taking my order. I had to ask him twice if he was ready.
The soup and egg rolls were barely above room temperature and the wontons were filled with some sort of mystery meat. The chicken dishes consisted of apparent industrial grade, overcooked chicken and were essentilly tasteless. No sauces were provided for the egg rolls.
I definitely will not return.

We’ve come to this location for years and usually get great food and service. However today we ordered our usual along with teriyaki chicken skewers and I bit into the meat and it was RAW. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until after I had swallowed the first bite. I’d avoid any place that is irresponsible enough to serve completely raw food. Hopefully I don’t get sick.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered the chicken with vegetables in white sauce. I don’t think I would even call this chicken. It’s completely mush. I took one bite and had to spit it out. White sauce and vegetables have no flavor and are undercooked and hard.

Ordered from this location via Ubereats. Very disappointing, no cashew nuts in Cashew chicken and owner was unwilling to help. She “accidentally” forgot to add cashew nuts and minuscule celery and carrots in the order. Will not order from this location again
