The sushi selection is fresh and delicious, and the prices are affordable. If it’s your first time, I recommend trying the classic hand-rolled sushi. We ordered the spicy tuna roll, California roll, spicy salmon roll, and miso soup. Everything was excellent!
Emily, our server, was sweet and attentive. She checked on us often, and her smile made the experience even better.
Great sushi and plenty of shopping nearby. Highly recommend!
I loved the veg role “green machine” the sauce they use was amazing.
I’m not a huge tuna fan, but the tuna on the roles we tried was good.
I will definitely come back!
Hands down the best sushi in Seattle. I leave Bamboo Sushi so happy every single time. Everything is perfection, the food, the ambiance, the service. Zero notes.
Shoutout to Jomar, who was absolutely amazing. We learned more about fresh wasabi, he treated us to a Seahawks roll (go Hawks! ), and helped us sign up for their new rewards program. Truly the best service.
Some of my favorites: spicy tuna crispy rice, the Hoki Poki box, and honestly any of the sashimi, all unreal.
I do wish there were a location closer to downtown, but it’s worth the trek to U Village (and a little shopping afterward never hurts).
The team is always friendly, fast, and the quality is 1000/10. Thank you, Bamboo Sushi, see you again very soon.
They have a very original set of signature rolls. We tried the Friday the 13th and hoki poki box and loved both.
The karaage was good, but not as crispy as I usually like. The fried rice was made with sushi rice, which I didn’t really enjoy but my wife thought it was delicious.
We tried a lot from the menu and loved the fresh thick cuts of fish! The sushi assortment was perfect!!! Every bite was different and full of flavor! Loved the little egg on top!
Variety of sushi rolls to choose from, and they have a few special to this place! We loved the unicorn and the streams and rivers (salmon specialty roll)! Hand rolls were full and plentiful! The nagihama was the best!!!
The yuzu lemonade was refreshing! Don’t sleep on this and get one!
We will def be back!!
We got the Bamboo Dragon roll and the Friday the 13th roll, which was our favorite!! So much flavor in that little bite..and the tempura crunchies give it such a fun texture, it accentuates the flavors! We also got this aguachile dish that was so yummy!!! It had the perfect savory and citrus mix of flavors that was just refreshing. The karaage was also good; crunchy and juicy inside, seasoned well with a yummy dip!
We would definitely come here again and try out more of their menu!
Highlights: Scallops (so fat and so worth it, $10 for two), salmon belly (they offer in sashimi form for $5 more. Every bite was butter, I’m spoiled now), and many rolls can have salmon or other seafood added to it for $4 – 10 each.
Dining environment: Lots of light wood, dimmed lighting, comfortable seating and even lounge area, subtle sophistication. Would recommend for dates or small groups (probably up to 6) although it is a very spacious restaurant that could hold bigger.
Service: Fantastic! Our server was really knowledgable and quick to answer my questions about the crab meat (imitation as well as real crab), and check with the chefs about our requests. 10/10.
Price: We spent $100+/person because we wanted to try everything, and honestly ordered more than we could finish. I would recommend a budget of $75 – 90/person for most people ordering the nigri sushi and sashimi. Probably $35 – 55/person if you prefer rolls.
Can’t wait to come back – thanks again for the phenomenal experience!!
