Delightful little spot with some interesting sashimi options. We stopped on a park for a Valentine’s day lunch and I’m glad we did. The only weirdness was some sort of issue with them not being able to make tea.

The king salmon crudo was a solid deal at the price point. I’m not 100% sold on the tomatoes (how am I supposed to pick that up with chopsticks?!), but the micro greens and sauce were great. The deep fried rice hashbrown sushi thing was surprisingly wonderful, with lots of fun texture. Presentation of the other sushi was well executed, as were the rolls themselves. I’m not typically a fan of bivalves, but I enjoyed the clam roll we tried.

The space was quite nice, and the wait staff was great with recommendations and knowing when to stop by the table, even if only to update us on the tea situation.

Also, I guess their hamburger is really good? I saw someone come in solo just for the burger. I’m going to have to come back and try it. I didn’t even notice it on the menu.

Ordered chicken karaage to start off with and it was really good. Rainbow roll was my favorite and spicy tuna roll was also good. The chirashi bowl was very diverse in selection and was laid over an amazing tasting rice definitely recommend for people who like their raw fish. Our server was amazing he was checking up on us often and took care of us well. The ambiance of the spot was also really nice. All in all definitely recommend if you have not checked it out.

The food is amazing. Hands down the best sushi in Denver. The service…..terrible. If you make reservations they will take and put you near the other other party in the entire restaurant and if you ask for a different table…they are all taken by reservations…but 3 hours into the night they are still empty. They will never come back to fill up water, you have to search for them, or your best option is order two drinks.

We come here once a week so this wasn’t a one time thing. It’s everytime we go…but again, best sushi in Denver so you deal with the horrible service.

Exceptional service, kind people who are extremely attentive. Amazing for celiac. Gluten free options so good you would never know they are gluten free. The food is as good as the best I have had. Would recommend to anyone. Call or use website for reservations.

I visited here with my partner after hearing it was an almost exclusively gluten free sushi restaurant (all places settings set with tamari, real crab in rolls, etc.). What a delight it was to eat here. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was incredibly delicious and beautifully plated. I was able to get things like calamari and shrimp tempura…which are terribly hard to get gluten free at other places. Overall, I would highly recommend the calamari, the red trout, the oysters, and the salmon flight. We were just tasting a few things to see if we were coming back, now we can’t wait for our next visit.

Word on the street is that they are developing an omakase menu. I can’t wait for that…count me in.

AMAZING! Best sushi restaurant I’ve been to as a celiac and for vegetarian. My husband and kids also loved their seafood. Literally everything is GF except a burger bun for the one burger they offer. Absolutely delicious, amazing service, and being able to have tempura was great.

The food is always delicious and balanced, there are plenty of (tasty) vegetarian options, and service is always great. It’s a little pricey, but no more than some surrounding locations (namely Briar Patch) and is 10,000% more flavorful and satisfying. Additionally, Bamboo prided themselves on fishibg sustainably (for those that do eat meat). When we have gone with non-vegetarian friends/family, they’ve really loved it.

The only thing I’d say is a little lacking are Bamboo’s cocktails – they’re a little unoriginal and not very complex. I’m super excited to have this restaurant close by and have added it to our date night rotation.

I eat here frequently and the service is always top-notch. Servers are attentive and polite, the chefs make excellent suggestions at the sushi bar, and you can tell they all work very hard especially on busy nights such as tonight. A very sad woman came in and made it everyone’s problem that she couldn’t get a reservation and her and her husband felt the need to take it out on the staff in front of everybody dining and that’s not reflective of any experience we’ve ever had here.

We loved eating at Bamboo on opening night. Just as great as their other locations but a more intimate feel. The crispy rice is always a hit and we did the tomodachi which was plenty of food for 4 people. The green machine was a favorite.

I was vegan until I found this place in my neighborhood. I have enjoyed sushi in many coastal cities in the continental United States. When it comes to Bamboo on Madison st, “enjoyed” cannot begin to describe the sensory experience that I subject myself to when I choose to have dinner at this establishment. You could not possibly choose an item of the Signature Roll menu and get something that did not appeal to your palate; each roll specially curated to highlight a specific flavor profile. The cocktails are also amazing (bring back the forager), and if there were a sixth star I wouldn’t hesitate to give it to Bamboo.
