As a truck driver, i’ve had chinese food from all over the country. I can reassure you that this food is not bland as some people claim it to be. I’m not gonna say it’s the best i’ve had but is very good and it’s well worth the price. The egg rolls are pretty good and a very good size. The wonton soup was absolutely amazing, i really enjoyed the soup. The rice, general Tso chicken, and the ribs were pretty good. I usually choose between the general tso chicken and the ribs, but for whatever reason, I ordered the chicken and they threw in some ribs, so you know i’m not complaining. Lol I will definitely be visiting this location again.

I’ve been coming to Bamboo House Chinese Restaurant at least twice a month for over 21 years. It used to be larger with seating, but now it’s basically a Chinese Kitchen for takeout.
I have never once been disappointed with the food prepared here. Never a complaint. Always as ordered. Always hot. And always delicious! I can’t do seafood, but I’ve had everything else on the menu at least once. Portions are large and I routinely get two meals out of my order. Prices are quite competitive. You go into the establishment and think “New York” because of its layout, but don’t let it fool you, the chow is great. Anyone asking “Any Chinese joints around here?” I recommend Bamboo House. The staff works very hard as you can watch, but they’re always smiling as you get your order.

You won’t be disappointed. Excellent Chinese-style seafood, highly recommend people to give this place a try. My wallet would be in trouble if I lived in NJ because I would be buying these multiple times each week. Cozy restaurant, very kind people, delicious seafood, great service and reasonable prices. And the lobsters were very juicy and very flavorful, the shrimp was great, and the chicken with broccoli was really good. We’re def coming back!

The food is horrible. Found something like a piece of Brillo in my vegetable lomein. The shrimp fried rice has nothing called taste. The rice is hard and the shrimp is soft. Not a good experience.

The food is consistently great. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. The chef pays close attention to special requests and the people who own and operate this restaurant are the nicest people you will ever meet. I live pretty much around the corner from them but I would gladly travel many miles for some take out. Thanks so much.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The service, food and pricing are all exceptional! I actually found out this place from a coworker of mine and figured I would give it a go because I was in search of a different Chinese food restaurant to start ordering from. I won’t name places, but when I first moved to the area in 2010 I went to a different place for a few years but their food quality went WAY down (and way before Covid so that can’t even be the excuse). Then I found another place who’s food I liked but after Covid their prices skyrocketed.
So I gave this place a chance and so glad I did. The pricing is beyond reasonable, the food is always delicious and the service is always fantastic. The lady that takes the orders and takes care of the customers is SO friendly and appreciative.
The only downfall is they do not deliver and I don’t believe they have anything set up with GrubHub etc. So if you’re not close to them, then it could be a hike to go pick up the food.
But if you do, it’ll be worth it 😉

Good Chinese food at amazing prices. We told them to make it less salty and saucy and they delivered just what we wanted. The moo goo chicken, bean curd, and string beans with black bean sauce all tasted good. The portions are generous and they cook very quickly.
