The food itself is decent, and the plating is nice. The décor and ambiance are well done and create a pleasant atmosphere. However, given the surrounding area and the number of comparable ramen and sushi restaurants nearby, the pricing feels noticeably high for the level of food and service provided. While the food is good, it does not justify the elevated prices, especially when paired with such poor service.
Parking is also limited, as the lot is shared with other businesses, which adds another layer of inconvenience.
Overall, this is not a restaurant we would go out of our way to visit. If you happen to be in the area and enjoy this type of cuisine, it may be worth stopping by—but be prepared for higher prices and minimal service.
Food is phenomenal. The basil chicken karaage and pork belly baos are must order appetizer. Sushi was very fresh and well presented. My favorites were the sea crown and airi roll. Spicy miso ramen had delicious broth, thick pieces of pork chashu and the eggs were perfectly jammy. The 72 hour ramen was the highlight of the meal. The rich, beefy broth was amazing and topped with angus beef that was perfectly cooked. They have beer and sake to pair with your meal as well.
Definitely recommend checking them out to get your ramen/sushi fix.
Let’s start with the service: the host, Sofia, greeted me with a smile and was quick to help me sit down. My server, Maria, got to me really quickly, and was really nice! She was so understanding with me since I was so indecisive. She recommended me a ramen(won’t lie, I forgot the name cause I just said yeah I’ll get that). And when I tell you I was not disappointed, that feels like an understatement. It was DELICIOUS.
All and all, if I want ramen, this is the place I’ll go.
A new sushi spot in the neighborhood — how exciting!
But imagine our surprise when we opened our $60 takeout order and found… well, I would call it sushi, but only if we’re speaking in the “toy food for dolls” category.
The rolls were so tiny that for a moment I thought the restaurant had mistakenly given us the display samples instead of the actual food.
The nigiri? Let’s just say I’ve seen larger slices of fish in a cat treat pouch.
And the piece of nori… honestly, if you blink, you miss it.
For $60, we expected dinner — not a minimalist art project exploring the concept of hunger.
Freshness alone does not justify charging premium prices for portions so small they could be used in a stop-motion animation about starving sushi.
If this restaurant wants returning customers, they might consider serving actual human-sized portions instead of… whatever this tiny, adorable, unfortunate situation was.
Absolute disappointment. Never again.
One small suggestion: it would be really helpful if the staff labeled the rolls on the to‑go containers with a Sharpie. I often order four to five rolls at a time, and when several have similar ingredients, it can be hard to tell them apart. When I mentioned this, I was told to take a menu to figure out which roll is which but having the labels directly on the containers would make the experience even better.
Overall, great sushi and a place I enjoy returning to!
