First off, super thankful for restaurant and staff being open on Christmas. With that being said, the food was utterly disgusting. Shrimp fried rice had pre cooked frozen shrimp, possibly half a carrot and 4 peas in total for vegetables. Chicken Lo mein had soggy noodles that you can tell were cooked long long before the order and chicken tasted old and full of fat. would hate to imagine if tried a sushi roll…

This place is always hit or miss, but it’s really the only Chinese takeout in Allendale.
If you’re ordering from them, double check the bag before you leave as they frequently mix up and forget items- and no, they will not refund you if you go home and find they missed something.

Every time i pick up from here they are disrespectful no matter if your nice to them or not.. they dont use their manners and its just disrespectful if i say thank you.. you say it back… and plenty of times ive came in here its smelt like bleach so bad i wanted to throw up its crazy

I’ve gone here multiple times throughout the last year! The wait for food can be long but it’s becuase there’s so many pickup and to go orders coming in! I would recommend doing delivery or pickup once ready so you don’t have to wait! The food has always always been great and the portions for price are fair!

The Crab Rangoon is phenomenal. The honey chicken is good, too. And the portions are great. Enough for me to have two meals when I’m eating without my boyfriend!! They’re pricey (that’s why I gave 4 stars)but give you a lot of food. I will definitely order from them again!!

We love this place and so do our out of town visitors. Recently had family in town who love Bamboo Express food. They all really enjoyed the food we picked up for dinner. I live right down the street and we order frequently. I have never had my order wrong and the food has always been very hot and fresh. The crab Rangoons are my favorite. I usually get the Mongolian Beef, that has plenty of meat and you can specify whether you want it spicy or not. Also love the shrimp tempura, a tasty appetizer with a wonderful dipping sauce. Sad to see some of the negative reviews because in my opinion they got it wrong.
