Yesterday was my first opportunity to visit this establishment. Upon entry I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, consisting of a contemporary setting with various Asian influence throughout the Restaurant. Its beautiful decor makes for a relaxing atmosphere and really adds to the pleasantries of eating here. The service as well was top tier. The hostess was extremely well mannered and attentive to our table. She was consistent in refills and general recommendations in regards to the menu. I ordered the sushi chefs choice as an appetizer to get an idea of the different types of sushi offered and loved every single one of the 5 provided. They were fresh and tasted amazing. For a main course I decided on steak hibachi and was again, delighted by the freshness, taste and appearance of the dish. Prices here also seem fair for the quality of the food. I Will be a returning customer for sure and highly recommend this establishment.

A friend suggested this restaurant for a lunch meet and it is superb! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. The food is so good! We had the Chesapeake roll, stuffed zucchini blossoms, calamari, Alaska roll, spicy salmon roll, and a chicken bento box. 10/10. If looking for sushi in the Swansboro/Emerald Isle area, please visit Bamboo. They now have a location in Morehead City as well. Thank you Bamboo!

Very impressive food and service were on point! My wife and I visited for lunch had an appetizer, miso soup, curry chicken, and 2 spicy rolls. Tuna and salmon more fish than rice most excellent. Have to leave one little negative which is probably a positive for most we really didn’t find anything to be spicy. The wasabi we feel could use a little more kick. Great all around highly suggest visiting.

Made a reservation for Christmas dinner kids said last time they enjoyed hibachi.
Five of us my son, DIL, myself toddler and infant. They ordered appetizer was fine. I ddint eat it. For dinner they had Ramen, I beef and vegetables and my granddaughter had kids chicken teriyaki. Kids food was good chicken cooked well very juicy and tender. Vegtable cooked well and nice selection. My son and DIL said their Ramen dish was bland and chicken was over boiled cooked. My beef and vegetables dish. The beef was very fatty and chewy after 4 pieces I couldn’t eat it I did inform the server. As for vegetables alot of green peppers some mushroom, onion, carrot and zucchini.
Not sure if we will go back.

One of our fav places in Swansboro. You can’t beat their lunch menu and prices! I’m obsessed with their ginger dressing and always buy a pint to go for my salads at home. The BMW is the best sushi roll in my opinion….so yum! The staff is always so friendly too.

My husband and I had lunch here. We were seated quickly and got our drinks fast.
The place is usually packed but this day, there were only a few other people so we were able to get a nice table and our food came out quickly.
Our server was friendly and helpful, answering our questions and making recommendations.
I had the anger bird roll. It was unexpectedly delicious. It was wrapped in a soybean wrap, which was quite tasty and gave a unique taste to the roll. I’d recommend it. My husband can’t remember the name of his, but he enjoyed it. I’ll add a photo of it.

The food was amazing.. we did the steak veggies & fried rice. The spring rolls were so good. The cheesecake @ the end just finished it off. The service was on point we had a male server & heade it very enjoyable.. It was nice to see aale server that enjoyed his job & was very good at it… Thank you

Bamboo is a hidden treasure at the beach. Been going here for several years and here is why. 1. Their food is consistent and excellent. They have good quality control and I’ve never had any complaint with the food prep. The sushi always comes out looking elegant and artistic. My favorite dishes taste the same every time. They never mess up a special order. They pay attention to detail. 2. The people are outstanding. The owner, Kitty, managers like Michael, and friendly wait staff like Cindy are part of why I’m a regular. 3. Lunch prices are a bargain. If you order off the lunch menu between 11am-3pm on weekdays, you can get the same outstanding food for a discounted price. They do have a sushi lunch special, but the fancy rolls are always the same price. 4. We’ve brought visitors who are Japanese nationals and they have raved about this unpretentious local place.

Our friends who live in the area rave about this place so we decided to have dinner while in town & it didn’t disappoint. The broth on the spicy pork ramen needs a little tweaking as it wasn’t spicy enough for me but not bad, their sushi selection is very good plus they have tempura ice cream which is not very common in NC. It’s a small restaurant so I’m pretty sure it can get packed during high season but overall a good dining experience. Will come back again soon when in town
