There are two free public parking lots near the light making it an easy walk. However, there is also street parking or a parking garage thats $15 if preferred. The street parking does have a few handicap spots. The service was great. The venue is large. It was not busy at the time of our visit, but I’ve been here another time where this place was packed. The food came out at regular intervals and was prepared hot. The only downside was I felt the chicken in the boxty could have been seasoned more. Prices were as expected- 2 cocktails. 2 entrees, and 1 app equaling to ~$80.

Ballydoyle never disappoints when it comes to both food and entertainment. The menu has something for everyone — Alehouse burgers is always on point. Everything comes out fresh and well seasoned, making it easy to find a favorite.
On top of the food, the live music and entertainment really bring the place to life. There’s always great energy in the room, and the staff does an excellent job keeping service smooth even during busy nights. A solid spot for good food, great drinks, and a fun night out.

Parking in downtown Aurora is always a hassle, but we came in for First Friday and decided to give this spot a try. It took a while to get seated since many tables weren’t cleared or cleaned yet. I ordered the chicken pot pie, which came in a bread bowl—a nice twist I actually enjoyed! However, the potatoes tasted grainy and unwashed, and I noticed the filling portion was smaller than it used to be before they started serving it in the bread bowl. Still, the meal was hearty and filling. My 3-year-old had the butter noodles and loved them, and her French fry portion was impressively large! My friend ordered a burger medium, but it came out overcooked with no pink in the middle and hard edges. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

We came to Club 28 (a.k.a Ballydoyle) to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the night fell apart at the door. One of our friends was turned away for wearing a hat, even though the posted sign said “no hats” and several men inside were wearing cowboy hats without any issue. When we pointed this out, the staff brushed it off and said they’d “change the sign later.” That kind of inconsistency is unacceptable.
What made it worse is that our friend who was turned away is Black, and the men allowed in with hats were not. That difference didn’t sit right with us. It felt discriminatory, and it cast the whole situation in a much darker light.
If a place wants to enforce a dress code, it should do it consistently and respectfully. We won’t be back, and I hope the management takes a serious look at how moments like this come across to customers.

Grand old place with outside patio and great old place inside. Historic features and old time Irish pub look. They also have banquet space and lots of room.
The outside and some areas are dated and in need of repairs. But the food is actually good and drinks cold. There is plenty of parking on the street and large garage for Hollywood casino area. Their place has seen better times. But definitely still kicking for a great drinks and quick lunch.

Antonio was our waiter. A group of 15 of us were there for a wonderful evening of food company and good food and drink. Antonio took the time to take care of each and everyone of us. He was down to earth, professional and just made all of us feel pretty good. Thank you for a wongerfol evrig.

Food was great, service was good except we got the wrong food,when we asked for something completely different we kept getting the “look”. They did but…..
It was very very dark, they said it was for the later arriving dj. There were guests in near darkness.
Overall great food, they did make it right when there was an error, but made us feel wierd about asking.

This is the fourth time I’ve been here for New Year’s Eve over the past 8 years and it has really gone downhill. The food was bad, they promised a breakfast buffet as usual and then they served us a buffet of nacho stuff and it was disgusting. The employees were rude at the bar and at the front door. The music/band was not at all catered to a general demographic. Security even surrounded me and accused me of stealing wristbands in a box on a ledge in the entry area when I was leaving to go see a better band over at the casino. I had done nothing. They were just on a power trip.

We wanted to try somewhere different and this is in the perfect location in Aurora. Upon entry you have 3 options of where you want to eat, we chose to go left to eat. Our waiter was very kind, our drinks were nice (the ginger beer was the best one I’ve had yet) our food was full of flavor and DELICIOUS, the fries were PERFECTION extremely delicious and not pictured was my husbands burger that he said was very good, the manager came and made sure everything was up to par, we had a great experience. We will be back.

When I lived closer to the area, I came here semi often with friends or family. It’s located in downtown Aurora, close to the Paramount theater. Parking is very easy, there is a huge parking lot that you can go to after hours. Make sure you read the signs. It was behind a bank, I would walk across the street, turn left and you’re there. They had live music, good food, and the restaurant was spacious. I had the corn beef bites that are worth trying once. Burgers were decent. Service was always good. On St Patrick’s Day, they make decent quality corned beef and cabbage. There’s a location in Downers Grove that is easier for me to get to. I’ll have to check out that location.
