I wish I lived in Richmond so I could come here all the time. I came for the fried feta cheese and torte, but the coffee was divine and the Balkan Schnitzel was beautifully Spiced. I would buy a bucket of the feta spread that was on top. I think the dip with the fried feta was eggplant and red pepper, and it was also amazing.

This place got us hooked on Balkan cuisine. Everything on their meat and cheese platter was on point, down to the pickles and pepper paste. Some of the meats are even smoked on site. The goulash was also well spiced and hearty. Looking forward to visiting again!

A great place for a lunch or dinner. The Balkan potatoes are a must-have. We also had the beef goulash and it was amazing! The portions are big and the guy that runs this place is very kind and helpful. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try something new, or just have a hearty meal.

We visited this restaurant that offers food from Ukraine. We ordered a starter appetizer recommended by the kind gentleman who served us and it was delicious!. It had a variety of exquisite cheeses. Then I ordered this dish that I show in the photo, it’s a kind of soup seasoned with chicken in pieces and in the center a ball of butter with cream, it was delicious. Definitely highly recommended this place, very cozy and excellent service.

We loved our all food and our conversations with the personable owners and staff! We had the schnitzel, goulash and fried cheese. Our lovely waitress recommended a great dessert! We can’t wait for Croatian wine and beer to be able to be imported But in the meantime enjoyed everything! We will be back!

My girlfriend and I visited this fine establishment on August 8th. I had already seen plenty of excellent reviews so internally I was expecting an 8/10 dining experience at least. Well I was FAR from disappointed. I only slightly regret that we didn’t take pictures of the food, but we got the fried feta cheese and the mixed grill platter, which have been photographed by others. The fried cheese along with the red pepper sauce was absolutely delicious. If you’re a fan of appetizers, you must get that. As for the main dish, we ordered the mixed grill platter with a side of these special creamy potatoes (I can’t remember what they are called). The potatoes were super decadent and flavorful, and matched PERCFECTLY with the beef, veal, chicken, and cevapi that were cooked and seasoned flawlessly. Also the potato side dish could be used a dipping sauce for the grilled meats. Also there’s this soft bread that comes with the dish that you can also dip in the saucy potato side that’s yummy. All of the food was extraordinarily satisfying both in quantity and taste. We got 2 desserts to go because we were full: the spartak torte and the crepes. I honestly don’t have a sweet tooth and the crepes were alright but that torte was really really good. Overall, I CANNOT WAIT to come back. Oh I almost forgot the service was magnificent. The owner was super friendly and happy to provide recommendations. This place is 10/10.
