Fantastic place to stop in Virginia City. Beer is great, people are great and the food is good. Burgers are yummy and a decent price given the location. Burgers come with lays chips which is nice. I really liked all the beers on tap.

Wow were we hungry and wow was the food satisfying! Simple seeming menu, but really fast and good service! Loved the homemade pasty (which they bring in along with the tamales from Butte MT.) And the square cherry pie was quite possibly the best cherry pie I’ve ever had. Good service and really cool atmosphere! Easy to add another 5 star rating to this place!

This was a wonderful bar. The barkeeper was a sweet heart and took a lot of pride in serving customers. The hamburgers we bought were tasty and the decorations were very cute. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

Has gril options…they serve cheese burgers, hamburgers, Johnsonville brats, italian sausage sandwiches, beef pasties. There’s also patio seating or you can have you meal at the bar. Not interested in alcohol?…no prob….they have non-alcoholic beverages.

Dog-friendly outdoor patio. Good beer selection. Didn’t eat here but wish we would have. Just be a little patient as these small town joints are usually staffed by only a few people.

Came in after exploring the town. Didn’t catch the bartender’s name, but she was great. Nice selection of craft beers, and not overpriced. Had both scotch alew, the raspberry wheat and the porter. All good. Would go back

As I pen these words, I am but a specter of the man I once was. My body may have perished long ago, but my soul, unable to find peace, I bid farewell to the place that was once my home.
I spent my days defending this saloon from those who take, and my nights drinking and carousing with hardened souls of virtue and faith. The sound of laughter and the clinking of glasses filled these halls, and the air was thick with the smell of leather, whiskey and tobacco.
But now, as I watch from the shadows, I see that the good times have come to an end.
To those of you who pass through these doors, I ask that you remember the ghosts of the past. Remember the people who laughed and loved and fought and died here. Remember the gunslinger who once called this place home.
Farewell, my friends. May the road ahead be filled with happiness and joy.
Sincerely,
The Ghost of the Gunslinger.
