Absolutely fantastic. One of the best dinners I ever had. I’m not doing the names any justice on these fantastic dishes. Every element in these dishes is carefully thought through, seasoned to absolute perfection and every bite is a dream. The attention to detail, thoughtful service, and amazing wine options makes this a true GEM in Mount Shasta. If you have not tried you are missing out and if you are passing through this is a must while visiting.

Wow, what a beautiful spot. We came here on a whim, we live in SF but come to shasta every so often on trips and this place hands down is a gem. If this spot was in San Francisco, I would frequent it as often as possible.
Wonderful service, incredible food. The filet mignon was possibly the nicest filet I’ve ever eaten…and I eat it on a weekly basis in any restaurant I visit. Temperature was completely perfect, it didnt even require a steak knife it was the tender, the potato dauphinose was the perfect compliment to the steak.
My partner had the Rabbit ragú, the meat was very tender, pasta was fresh and delicious. We also shared a appetiser of the truffle fries, 10/0.
The atmosphere is great, it’s not loud, it’s just right.
Our server was amazing, she recommended the rabbit ragú and we’re so glad she did. She was super efficient and so friendly.
The wine was also gorgeous, I cannot find one single fault with any of it. I’m so glad we visited, this restaurant alone is enough of a reason to come back to beautiful shasta again.

Decided to give this place a try this evening based on reviews and recommendations, the room is comfortable and inviting and the seating and service was great. Unfortunately I had to switch up my entries for unspecified reasons. It turned out to be an excellent experience for my group. The wine was Spectacular. All said I would recommend them to anyone interested in a good dinner and great wine .

In a world of mediocrity
A restaurant emerges
Changing that
An experience from the moment you walk in the door
Ambient music
Fantastic art
Incredible staff
And now… The food
Where to begin?
Starting with the chef obviously
The time taken to hone the craft is apparent as soon as the first plate is set down…
Seoul Shrimp are good in the way that the Mona Lisa is good
The mussels… Prepared as though by Poseidon personally
So far I have had the cod
Tasted the duck
And found bliss in the wagyu flank steak
If you’re tired of what passes for good
Treat your taste buds to greatness
This place is it!!!

Exceptional! Overall a fantastic experience in Mt Shasta. So glad I visited this restaurant. The wait for the food was a little long but totally worth it! The taste was incredible and service was great as well.

Baldovinos made my wedding reception a magical evening of culinary delights. Wow. Sue and Chef allowed us to take over the entire restaurant all evening for our special event. They planned a fabulous menu with us, cooked to perfection and served us like royalty. I’m forever grateful.

Our second time dining at Baldovinos and it was better than the first! Both meals I rated 5 stars. The Moroccan Chicken and the Sherry glazed ribs were my favorite this time! Great service and I love the vibe in the dining room. As far as I am concerned this is the best restaurant in Mt. Shasta. I feel the prices are very reasonable for a fine dining restaurant. It’s a great run restaurant!

The food was delicious! We had a fantastic ceviche appetizer with some shishito peppers. Great start to the meal.
The wagyu entree was spot on. Cooked medium rare while still having a great crispy sear and seasoned super well. The tomato/zucchini sauce on top complimented the wagyu so well.
We will be back and I will definitely be ordering the wagyu again!
I also love, love, loved that there was no VEGAN options! Vegans who complain about no vegan options are the worst.

We dined at Baldovinos last week. It was a great experience! It feels like a neighborhood restaurant. It’s chic, it’s fun, the service is great, the food is delicious, they have a good wine list and the owner Sue Baldo makes you feel at home. We started with the Arancini, and shrimp, both delicious, The salad was dressed with one of the better dressings I’ve ever had! For entrees we ordered the Drunken Lamb, Wagyu Beef and the Halibut. All perfectly prepared and delicious. If I lived in Mt. Shasta Baldovinos would be my go to restaurant! I highly recommend a visit.
