Unacceptable how they are doing business. Charging way too much for a sandwich and charging extra depending on what type of bread you use. Prices are double here. Not a place I want to buy from to expensive rather drive 5 extra minutes and go to Borinquen Bakery amazing food and service and they don’t charge extra for the choice of bread you use for sandwich

This place is ridiculous. I went for a simple small ham and cheese sandwich. They charged me 5.46 just for ham and cheese then another 1.04 for the bread for the sandwich and then another 1.30 just for there nasty mayo ketchup that shouldn’t go on Ham and cheese. You would think it at least taste good. The sandwich is pretty much empty cause they skimp out on everything they charging u for.

Their establishment is horrible. Only one to two workers at a time and they’re horrifically slow. The sandwiches whether hot or cold are way too small and you can get a bigger sandwich for the same price elsewhere. You can the second customer there but if you choose to use EBT, they’ll put 10 other people ahead of you just because you didn’t pay with cash. Don’t go here at all, you’re money will get you a whole lot further at Subway’s, Little Ceaser or even a different mom and pop’s place down the street for sure.

Beware off the cashier she likes to over charge I bought two $6.50 sandwiches and a $1.50 drink and my card got charged for $$16.00 bucks .. Then as I’m waiting for my sandwiches to be done ,she charges the next person on line the same donut two times and the customer didn’t even realize it. Visited the East Hartford location this morning. I wish I would I read reviews before making that mistake. Everything I got today was old and stale. Cashier clueless and gave me the wrong item as well. Is someone taking this business seriously? Upset I wasted 17$ here. It all went to the garbage.

Not Heaven at all. Roast beef sat on the counter for 23 minutes in attended while the 2 employees walked back and fought with their hair all out. A food violation I say. The bread takes forever and its hard.

today 04/21/17 I went to this place, first of all the sandwich that I order looord that sandwich was so thin that biting into it was terrible it was dry and salty barely any mayonnaise, second their cheese custard (flan de queso) was terribly hard it tasted old and to complete my disaster of a lunch I bought a pastry that “supposedly” has cheese in it… oh no please the thin line of cheese the put in it was hard like a rock it look like that “quesito” has been seating there for more than 3 days.. and they just still took my $$$ who cares once I leave the store… also please I walked in there no hi, no thank you, no have a nice day…nothing it was like dealing with a mute robot..no way I would step in there ever and so sad that was suppose to be my lunch I spent 10.84 and I didn’t enjoy at all… and too bad because I work at the clinic next to them and that was my opinion to all my people who asked me about the place.. I hope that they do take these reviews to better themselves.. unhappy customer!
