We have been eating here for years and would have given it 4 1/2 stars before. We took family and friends there, and all our out of town visitors, and business colleagues, all the time and recommended them to everyone, but not any more. We have many different items from their menu but the family favourite is their oxtail. We have eaten in (although there’s no atmosphere to speak of) and taken out. Today we ordered the large oxtail as usual but the amount we received was like a small with a little additional rice to fill up some of the space. The containers are more than half empty and you can imagine how little meat we got from seeing the pile of bones that were left in the 2nd pic. We were cheated. As regular customers, we trusted them, and now feel betrayed and cheated. We have already told everyone we took there not to go there any more and the ones who haven’t yet made it there not to bother going. You don’t get any value for money. They have lost us as customers. We will take our money elsewhere.

I ordered the jerk chicken meal, includes rice peas, option of coleslaw, or salad with chicken gravy. The large size is a good portion size. Chicken was well cooked and moist. It was nicely marinated and tasty. I highly recommend this place. Small joint in a small plaza northern Brampton. Amble parking spots. I would definitely come back and try their goat curry.

I’m proud to say this is Canada’s jerk chicken you simply can’t top it. The quality has only improved over time, and they’re incredibly generous with the sauce and gravy. I’ve been coming here since they first opened, through renovations and even their temporary food truck phase. Although I stopped visiting for a few years due to inconsistency, I’m happy to say that consistency has truly returned.
I ordered the lunch special every day for a whole week no exaggeration and today, I tried the dinner special. Each dish feels made with love, evident in the perfectly char-grilled chicken and that sweet BBQ jerk sauce that makes the chicken sing in your mouth. Now, about the pasta salad I never thought I’d experience the day when I wouldn’t want to share it with my son. I had to order extra just for him because he practically ate my share! The creamy goodness is exceptional. I’m not usually a fan of mac and cheese (you know, like ziggys stuff), but this pasta salad is on a whole different level.
I highly recommend getting the peppah sauce on the side to kick up the spice level. That’s why their jerk sauce is sweet because when you pair it with the peppah sauce, it transports you to a different world, rich with culture and history.
Please keep pushing for the best! I truly hope this place stays forever and doesn’t disappear like so many beloved restaurants from my childhood. This is the only one that’s still around, keeping the original spirit alive while continuously improving with the times.

Me and my husband came for the first time.
My husband is from India and was craving Jamaican food and he was satisfied and so was I as I was having pregnancy cravings LOL! Definitely coming back! We ordered dark and white meat jerk chicken. Their pasta salad is to die for.

I just came in and purchased a small curry goat! Are you kidding me? This is what I got!, where is the food? The quality of this place has declined! In addition, the coleslaw is sour! Waste of money

I recently visited this restaurant and tried the classic Jerk Chicken with Rice, Peas, and White Sauce Pasta. Having experienced various styles of chicken from different cuisines, I was truly impressed by the unique and flavorful taste of this dish. It was my first time trying Jamaican food, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations.
The staff at the counter were exceptionally friendly and took the time to recommend different combinations and gravies based on my preferences, which I really appreciated. The service was excellent, and the overall experience was fantastic.

Amazing soul food. Feels like it was made in a home kitchen. The macroni salad is worth it to get by itself, but the jerk chicken and bbq chicken are great. Also, it is Halal. Would love to come back for more.

I went to a Black History celebration in mississauga, the food was very tasty. The herk chicken was delicious well seasoned. There curry goat was excellent. The best Jamaican food I have tasted in a while.
