The breakfast sandwiches and other food here are always good, and everyone I have gone with says good things about the coffee. I have tried to find drinks I like here that are cold and uncaffeinated and a couple of the things I have tried start to separate just a little bit as I’m about 2/3 of the way through. It’s not detrimental but makes the end of the drink unsatisfying.

My girlfriend and I have been frequenting every weekend for about a month now and we both look forward to our delicious breakfast and coffee from this great little shop.
The coffee and food are both delicious while being incredibly reasonably priced. Not to mention the great atmosphere and the smiles from all the girls working there, it gives a super welcoming feeling for a small town coffee shop in a bestway.

There was this worker with short blonde hair and really blue eyes. I never caught her name. She was super nice, patient, and helpful! She made me an iced chai and it was by far one of the best iced chai’s I’ve ever drank!

Hands down the best local coffee shop you can support. The girls are absolute sweethearts no matter the time of day or what they got goin on and just cannot seem to make a bad coffee. It’s in a gas station minimarket that heavily markets vapes, especially right by the counter of the cafe. But the market is well stocked with other things. So I usually go via the drive through if with family.

Bakers Dozen is a franchise I’ve been dining with since I was young. The food has always been quality, the staff friendly, and the drinks refreshing. I was so happy to have Gales Ferry open, and I frequently use them for my morning rush or afternoon guilty pleasure donut. The prices are all very reasonable and compared to other competing stores it feels like a much more friendly environment. The staff is always asking what they can do to improve my experience, and I always say that it is just fine. Whether driving through, or walking in you’re guaranteed great coffee and even better service.

I’ve been coming to this bakers dozen for years, and I’ve never had a problem until recently. New staff must’ve been hired, and nobody can make a decent coffee. The first one they had made tastes like burnt coffee, and it wasn’t even the right size. When i went back and said something, she said “oh is the right coffee i just made it a medium.” I had asked for a large. The second one they had made didn’t even have cream in it, and they tried to say it did. I wouldn’t take it because I know what a coffee looks like with cream in it, and when I said something about it, I heard the girl that made it say, “JESUS just remake it.” Not very professional, and I won’t be coming here any longer. This place is too expensive for this kind of attitude and terrible coffee.
The norwich bakers will be my new coffee spot. They replaced my terrible coffee and didn’t charge me when I explained what happened at the gales ferry location. I was very impressed with the staff in norwich.
