Welcoming and friendly service.
Varied menu but we had spies some delicious looking pecan rolls on display and that’s what we ordered with our coffee.
They were even more delicious than they looked!

Located in beautiful Custer you’ll find this seemingly small restaurant and then upon entering are met with a plethora of seats in the front and back area. Don’t have time to dine in? No problem! One pastry will feed a family of four. Check it out for yourself. Food was great, service was great, they have tap to pay option as well as regular card terminals and they take cash.

We stopped in for donuts and loved them! The staff were friendly and funny! Encouraging us to try them all (which was tempting). Even the other guests were recommending donuts. They were some of the best raised donuts we’ve had in a long time. So fresh and squishy-just like I like them! My husband for carrot cake and the berry cheesecake bar. So good! We are going back tomorrow for more!

No idea why we haven’t visited this great spot before now! The atmosphere is charming, prices are good, staff is so friendly and attentive and.. the food was great!

I had the 2 pancakes & bacon, thinking it would be a small portion but the pancakes were huge! They had great buttermilk flavor and we fluffy/delicious

My husband had the Sunrise Biscuit breakfast and said the sausage gravy was excellent, and again a large portion with hash browns and 2 eggs

The bakery counter by the front door is full of delectable temptations. We did take home a huge cinnamon roll for later.

What a great find. Next time we’ll stop by for lunch

Best place in Custer for breakfast! Get there before 10:00. Or you might not get in before they stop serving breakfast at 11.
Also, make sure you have all your party there bc they are so busy, they won’t seat you till everyone is present. There is always a waiting list, at least during Sturgis Motorcycle rally time.

They have very good breakfast dishes, omlets, eggs and burritos. They have excellent lunch hamburgers, and the buns are made on site (so much better than most bc they don’t fall apart). See the menu.
They also have garlic cheese curds! They are amazing!
They are open for breakfast and lunch. They close at 3pm. The wait staff have all been there for a long time and are so friendly and helpful. It’s a must stop place. The cinnamon rolls are delicious, as are the donuts. And everything else!
I’m not sure what year I wrote this review but now it is 2025, and, once again we are here for the (85th) Motorcycle rally. This is still the best stop for breakfast in Custer. I’m adding a couple more pics of yummy baked goods.
