Angies is so delicious. The staff at Grom recommended we try Angie’s since we loved their food so much. The did not steer us wrong. Everything on the menu sounded great. I finally settled on the dirty gringo. Service was fast and fresh. We enjoyed luch on the patio which is also pet friendly!

The Peruvian sauce is a standout and makes the subs unforgettable. Sweet tea is always spot-on, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating makes it an easy, comfortable stop in Jacksonville Beach.

A Jax Beach institution for good reason, Angie’s is a great sub shop. The subs have a solid amount of meat and toppings and are always full of flavor. The best part? After 5 PM subs at the Jax Beach location are $8, making this one of the best deals in town for a filling dinner.
I don’t think it’s possible to go wrong here, but my favorite subs are the My Wife Kicked Me Out (Smoked chicken), Dr. Bang’s Scrippy (Almost like an Italian with Chicken Salad), and the 904 Sub (Turkey, ham, and jalapeño aioli), all with cruchies added on. I also love the Schweet Tea (Some of the sweetest tea I’ve ever had!), and their french fries and fry sauce.

Edit: Management reached out to me to apologize and they did their best to make things right and were very professional. We will be back again soon.
Usually have good experiences here, but not today. Placed an order online and half the order was incorrect when I got home and opened everything up. I didn’t even get the sub I ordered and got someone else’s that I can’t eat instead. Do better Angie’s, someone needs to double check orders if they can’t get things right for a simple 2 item online order.

Let’s talk about the Peruvian sauce. I don’t know what’s in it, and frankly, I don’t want to know. If they started selling it in gallon jugs, I’d probably try to use it as engine oil or a facial moisturizer. I put it on my sub, then I put it on my chips, and then I considered putting it on my napkin just so I didn’t waste a drop.

Excellent but store was a bit busy the counter person seems very friendly which was great because I had not yet paid for my parking so I was kinda nervous about that the sub was made very nice & also worth the price I paid I got vegetarian meatless. The fact that there are items to take home was nice kinda want to buy the hot sauce hopefully next time

Angie’s is a sandwich shop with lots of personality and a staple in Jax Beach. It’s set up a little differently than you might expect. You go into the first door, order at the counter, walk to the next counter where you can grab a drink or some bottles of sauce, then pay there. There is an eclectically decorated large dining area and outdoor seating as well. Big bottles of Peruvian and hot sauce are at each table inside and amazing.

When you find a locally owned sub-shop that supports the community and has the best subs at the beach, it becomes your favorite sub shop and it is so much better than any sub chain. The Famous Peruvian is my favorite with ham, salami, bacon, Italian sausage, and provolone. My husband likes the sweet tea. The service is always great and you can dine inside or outside on the deck. The specials after 5pm are a steal and they give you a free sub on your birthday! We like to pick up our subs on the way to the beach and eat them at the beach. If you’re in Jax Beach, this is where the locals go.

We stayed in Jacksonville for a family vacation. We were looking for something quick and good for dinner one night and google pointed us here for the best subs in eastern Jacksonville. Google did not fail us ! The sandwiches here are soooooooo darn good. So good in fact we went back the following night . They also have a sub sauce for sale.YOU HAVE TO GET IT!!!!! WE put that stuff in all our sandwiches. Skip the mass chain sub shop sandwiches and come here. You will not be disappointed!
