Reviews
During happy hour, margaritas and beers are just $3, which is almost unheard of these days. The margarita pour was very generous, too. We came on January 25th to watch the playoff games and were pleasantly surprised.
We ordered the warm tortilla chips with beans, guacamole, and salsa ($4.95) and the Mexican pizza with beef (under $9). The portions were huge and everything was delicious. I honestly don’t know anywhere else where you can enjoy dinner plus four drinks for under $30.
Highly recommend this happy hour lounge at the South Point Casino. We’ll definitely be back! (And sorry—the photo is missing half the pizza. It looked so good we forgot to take a picture before digging in )
Returned 2/22/25 – International frozen margarita day
We had the wings and corn, both very good
Thank you!!
I loved the restaurant atmosphere and especially appreciated the staff there. They are really very, very nice. Next best quality about the place is their bartender*s. They mix nice drinks and they are very accommodating(sugar).
Let’s talk about the food. In my opinion it’s a 3. The rice lacks Mexican flavor. The chicken isn’t marinated. Instead, it looks like it just gets a sprinkle if southwest flavors gets added for decoration.
My review ends short. I expected more cause it looked good!
The main entre’ / lunch special was middle of the road. I went with the Baja Combo chicken for lunch in between bingo games.
Nothing extra special but seated, placed my order, and was served quickly and with a smile. Plenty of attention to drinks, water, anything else needed, etc.
Miguel’s bar is available for sit down service if you want to jump right to chips and drinks only.
I thought they were fantastic. Great seasoning and flavor. Juicy. Piping hot. Love making my own corn tortillas tacos with all the toppings included. Guacamole, salsa, refried beans, sour cream. What’s not to love? Great service.
We had a table of 14 and they accommodated all of us very well. Fast service and refilled chips , guac, beans, and salsa. I would definitely come here if you’re staying at South Point.
