We started with the chicken and beef samosas which were excellent and crunchy and flavorful. The dipping sauces went great with everything.
Dinner was chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and the tandoori bbq baithak platter. We also got the garlic naan, chapati, and Kandahari naan to mop up the sauces. And for dessert we got the Shahi Kheer.
There was so much food when it all came to the table, we were not prepared. Everything was served hot, the dishes were so flavorful, and the portions were a really good size, so we got to pass around food and try each other’s plates.
The Tandoori Bbq Baithak Platter was the show stopper. It came out sizzling on a skillet and was full of delicious, spicy goodness.
We were so full when we left and we will ABSOLUTELY be back again soon.
I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and she got her (usual) Butter Chicken. We also got some Basmati Rice, Garlic Naan and an order of Aloo Paratha. She thought the Aloo Paratha was too spicy for her, but I absolutely LOVED IT! The Naan was cooked really well. There was a slught crisp to the ends of the bubbles in the bread, which blended well with the sauces. I tend to like a LOT of garlic so the Naan was a little bland for me; so it should be fine for everyone else. Though the sauces seemed a little thin, the taste spoke VOLUMES. Everything tasted SO FREAKING GOOD and the service was really quick and ever so kind.
I have never had Limca before. If you haven’t, it is a lemon / lime flavored carbonated drink. I thought it was sweet, she thought it was perfect. She opted for Pakola Cream Soda, which she also loved. I’m not a fan of cream soda, but it wasn’t bad at all.
Oddly enough they also have New York Style Pizza and other “Americanized” dishes for those who would opt for something else.
This is our new “GO TO” for Pakistan / Indian food in the greater Milwaukee area. Absolutely wonderful!!!
All in all, fantastic experience and we will be back!
The service was impeccable. The young man who waited on us was knowledgeable and patient. When one of our group wasn’t sure about a menu item, he stopped taking orders and went to the kitchen. Another table was being brought their food so he went to finish prep on the dish she was questioning so he could bring it over and show her before delivering it the other table. She ordered it. An older gentleman helped serve our meals, and stopped over as we were preparing to leave to make sure we had an enjoyable evening with good food. We did.
The food is delicious! What our table ordered: Punjabi Samosa, Chicken Pakora, Garlic Naan, Onion Naan, Mango Lassi, Chicken Malai Boti, Baithak Platter, Gulab Jamun, and Gajar Halwa. There were two other dishes ordered as well, but since one of the menu pages is not represented on maps, I cannot determine which ones they were. Everyone said everything was absolutely delicious though. We didn’t think to specify our spice level so everything came out as medium spice. Some things were a bit spicier at medium than one would imagine, but certainly not intolerable. So just remember – specify spice level.
Highly recommend!
Every single dish we ordered hit the mark. The Kandahari naan was lip-smacking good, and the nihari and paya were deeply flavorful and incredibly satisfying. The malai kebabs and chapli kebabs were juicy, tender, and served in generous portions. Even the mango lassi tasted truly authentic.
The chicken fry was pure nostalgia—comforting and perfectly done. Appetizers were top-notch, especially the fried fish and spring rolls, which disappeared fast at our table.
Beyond the food, the vibe is cozy, family-friendly, and genuinely welcoming. What truly stood out was a board that mentioned anyone can eat here even if they can’t afford it, with dignity and discretion. That kind of kindness is rare and speaks volumes about the heart behind this place.
Fantastic food, warm hospitality, and a restaurant that leads with compassion. Highly recommend them.
