Stopped into Cornerstone Pub thinking I’d just grab a quick bite… next thing I know I’m three drinks deep, debating whether I should move to Baileys Harbor and become a regular.

First off, the fish fry deserves some kind of Wisconsin medal. Perfectly crispy, big portions, and paired with fries that mysteriously disappear faster than they arrive. I’m not saying I ate too much, but I did briefly consider unbuttoning my pants like it was Thanksgiving.

The cheese curds were top tier — nice and squeaky like all proper Wisconsin curds should be. If your curds don’t squeak, are you even in Wisconsin?

The place has that classic Door County pub vibe: friendly people, cold drinks, Packers stuff everywhere, and the kind of atmosphere where strangers will talk to you like they’ve known you since kindergarten. By the end of the night I’m pretty sure I had three new friends and someone offering fishing advice.

Also, shoutout to the bartender who somehow kept the Old Fashioneds coming while listening to my life story like a true professional.

If you’re in Baileys Harbor and don’t stop here, you’re doing Door County wrong. Great food, strong drinks, and a place where you might walk in as a tourist but leave feeling like you belong at the bar stool.

10/10 would absolutely come back… mostly because I’m pretty sure I left a little piece of my liver here.

We loved the Baileys Harbor Cornerstone Pub! They have delicious seafood chowder, hamburgers, French fries, and onion rings. Everything we ordered was great! Their staff were friendly and helpful. We also loved the view of Baileys Harbor from the tables by the windows! ❤️

We stopped specifically for a fish fry at 6pm on a snowy Friday in winter.
There was plenty of seating available when we arrived.
The waitress got to us quickly. She upsold us to a Cherry Brandy Old Fashioned — very wise on her part.
We split an order of Whitefish and an order of Haddock. Lots of skin on the Whitefish. Haddock was done amazingly.
I got a side of German Potato Salad. It was not the vinegar flavor one would expect, but much more sweet and made with red potatoes. My wife thought it was very good, and she doesn’t like German potato salad!

Good food in a friendly atmosphere. Prices are fair and they have a good selection of beers and cocktails. Decent amount of parking and seating. Burgers are always juicy and flavorful. We go here almost every time we come to Door County.

Great Friday fish fry with lots of choices. Also an outstanding salad option. Our server Tanya took great care of our party and made suggestions for fish and side dishes. The brandy old fashioneds are outstanding. Don’t miss the cheese curds and Big Pretzel appetizers.

It was a great stop for lunch after our gorgeous morning of visiting the local icy shores. The service was excellent. I came for their great seafood chowder which you should order a bowl and then a cup to take home. Their broasted chicken will not disappoint. We shared a side salad.

Upon entry, we were not greeted and did not know we had to seat ourselves. The wait for food felt unnecessarily long for the lack of customers there. Food was mediocre at best, especially for the price. It was fine but nothing outstanding. Did not offer refills of water or extra napkins. I understand that there are certainly some other menu options that are fan favorites, but after this experience I don’t think I would want to come back.

Stopped here traveling through for lunch and it was excellent. For the first time I had baked Haddock with Slaw and Homemade Chips. It was cooked to perfection. My friend had the Cajun Whitefish. We really enjoyed everything. Our waitress Debbie was great, very attentive and so friendly.

7/22/25- family visit on a Tuesday night. No wait, friendly service. Variety of menu items fish, burgers, chicken, Rubens, pizza etc. kids menu too. Good prices with good food. Also sat outside with water views. Son said his burger was very good. Daughter said chicken strips good like a regular bar chicken strips- we were spoiled by wild tomato’s chicken strips the other day. All and all a lot of places are fancy in Door County with fancy prices but this place has a good variety for more reasonable prices.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and really enjoyed it. The Lake Michigan whitefish sandwich (with Cajun seasoning) was excellent. Very clean, tasty and reasonably priced. Would definitely order it again. The fish tacos were good but would try something else the next time.

Our server was very nice and checked on us a few times. We came at 2pm on a Saturday and had no wait and an excellent view. Free street and public parking, but you have to be lucky to find parking immediately next to the pub.
