Visiting Bahel Ethiopian Restaurant is always a delight for anyone craving authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, creating an inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. While I don’t often frequent Ethiopian restaurants, Bahel remains my top choice whenever I do.
On a recent Saturday, my cousin and I decided to have a late breakfast, early lunch date at Bahel, and it did not disappoint. We kicked off our meal with “lentil sambusa” , paired with a hot, seasoned tea that perfectly complemented the dish. For the main course, we shared the “Veggie Combo” and “Mushroom Dulet, both of which were incredibly flavorful and satisfying.
While the Veggie Combo was a hit, I felt that the Mushroom Dulet could benefit from a touch more seasoning, perhaps adding some “Mitmita” and “Korerima “to enhance its flavor profile.
The service was another highlight of our visit. The two waiters attending to us were friendly and attentive, frequently checking in to ensure we were enjoying our meal.
Overall, Bahel Ethiopian Restaurant is a standout choice for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Ethiopian flavors, and I can’t wait for my next visit!

This is my first time trying Ethiopian food. All of us enjoyed the food. The dishes are so delicious and the service is amazing. I wish I can have this everyday. I visited Atlanta from NY and I went to his restaurant twice during my 3 nights stay at GA. That’s how much the food was amazing. We got the platter both times and honey wine is also a must try. Sambusa is also very good. Tomato fitfit is also very refreshing. Highly recommended this restaurant ❤️

We finally got a chance to try Bahel after having it bookmarked for a while. As soon as we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, which was a great start.
The menu had several dishes we’ve had at other Ethiopian restaurants, so we ordered familiar items to compare. We went with the Bahel 1 Combo and chose chicken tibs, doro wot, shiro, gomen, and yellow lentils.
The food was ok. The Doro Wot had a sweeter taste than I’m used to, but it was decent, and the Chicken Tibs had a strong tomato flavor (not 100% sure it was tomato, but that’s what came through), which didn’t really work for me. The Shiro was excellent, though. I could’ve eaten that with some injera all by itself.
Overall, the experience was pleasant and the service was welcoming, but flavor-wise it didn’t quite hit enough for us to make it our go-to spot when we’re craving Ethiopian food.

Went here on a Sunday evening. The food is wonderful and the staff was attentive and kind. Since we aren’t familiar with Ethiopian food, we asked for recs and every dish was very tasty.

1st time to an Ethiopian restaurant as I have had similar food but not this exact food. I was welcomed in by the nicest people and they answered every question I had and the food is insanely good and they gave me so much, everything is incredible. Highly recommend! 20/10!

I first heard of Bahel via a YouTube food influencer and I was even more surprised that it was very close to my usual commute route to work. I decided to stop by for lunch and try the food for myself. I ordered their house special Kitfo which was minced beef cooked medium mixed with herbs and spices. It also came with injera sourdough flatbread which is used as a utinsil for the food along with collard greens on the side. The meal was filled with flavor and spice with the Kitfo having a slow steady burn. The waitress could notice I was sweating and provided me with extra napkins and water refills. The collard greens were savory and the injera also had little spice to them. Overall, despite the hotness of the food, I was impressed with the restaurant. I came by later in the week and bought some lamb tibs to go for my parents to try. They also had good things to say about the food along with the injera and collard greens.

Wow!! Great food. My wife and I stopped by on 6/11/25. The food had a lot of flavor. I had the Kitfo and my wife had the lamb. The food was fresh and tasty. First time eating Ethiopian food, and I will definitely be coming back. The customer service was amazing. You have to try the coffee and the cheese cake to complete your meal.

Its a great vibe with great food. Highly recommend getting the Bahel 3 shareable plate if you’re bringing a small party. Recommend getting the honey wine and their iced tea if you love cinnamon. The service is polite and friendly. You will leave happy and nourished.
