We definitely arrived during shift change, still didn’t wait for a table/server. Our server was very kind and made a mistake ringing up my order… no biggy for me, however, I’m pretty sure she told the cook to give me more shrimp for the mistake or something… if not, then they give you A TON of shrimp in their “basket” honestly should be considered a platter if that’s the case! The chips were DELICIOUS. I am NOT a sauce person, but positive I used them at this joint! Except ketchup, ha not for me. I will say the fried cheese & jalapeño stuffed shrimp app probably wasn’t worth the price, BUT YUMMY! ($2.8 each ) My fried shrimp was good and in abundance. My fiancé said his fish tacos were pretty good, and he absolutely loves the dipping sauce for the stuffed shrimp app.

We can here on a Sunday night in December, and the place was packed-a good sign from the start. Even with the crowd, service was quick, and our server was very friendly. The portions were fairly large, and the food was great. But please remember, YOU MUST SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! We tried the key lime pie, the peanut butter pie, and the cheesecake-all were amazing! Key lime pie is usually my favorite, but the cheesecake took the gold for me at Bob’s.

Had the pecan crusted flounder and the gumbo and everything was delicious! It came out fast and was hot and fresh. Dylan was our server and he was great. Margaritas were 10/10, light and not too sweet.

Very loud inside seating. We enjoyed the patio with heaters. Hostess was friendly, waitress was friendly. Gumbo was delicious but the steamed shrimp lacked flavor.

This is our new crab leg place in Gulf Shores!!
Made a quick over night trip to the beach with a couple of the granddaughters.
Everyone wanted crab legs and shrimp.
Got 3lbs crab legs and 2lbs of the red shrimp came with corn and potatoes.
Got it to go.
Had a couple margaritas at the bar while waiting. Bartender was awesome, great personality! but…I am embarrassed to say I forgot her name.
We devoured every bit of the food.
Crab legs were seasoned perfectly and every single section was filled with plump meat. They cracked easily and the meat came out in whole pieces. Shrimp were fresh and cooked perfectly.
Will be going back to get our bartenders name and will update this review.

Parking at the restaurant = $6. Hostess’ first question, “where would you like to sit?” Answer, “Inside please”. She said 10 min wait. After about 10 min they take us to an outside table. I told her that we had asked for inside and she said that’s a “lot longer wait” so we said we’d go ahead and take outside. We are a family of 6 and she asked us to split up to two tables, or we could squeeze into one table. All the while, a party of 13 and party of 4 came in and both were seated immediately inside. Food was about average. Price for me and my wife: fried shrimp dinner and fried fish dinner, two drinks, two teas = $100 with tip. Waitress was great! Bright spot of the visit. My recommendation, find another option.

We had the greastest waitress we have ever had anywhere. Chyanne, was friendly with personality that didn’t stop. The food was wonderful and scrumptious and you need to try a Bushwacker if your over 21.

Bahama Bob’s is a unique beach side restaurant experience. They have a good assortment of food on the menu for the seafood lover and non-lover. We sat outside which was a great experience since the weather was great (mid-October). There was an extremely loud family screaming behind us but that is no fault of the restaurant. Our server, Richard, did an excellent job. If you’ve never been, you should definitely visit Bahama Bob’s.

Service was good when our server finally showed up. We almost left. Food came very quickly. We ordered shrimp poor bo’s. Fries were warm, not hot. Shrimp on sandwich was good but there was no sauce and bread was dry. We would never go back if we lived here. I’m not sure what anyone would see in this place. We live upnorth where quality versus quantity counts.
