I came in during lunch & was excited to see what all the raves is about. I got a combo meal with the Five Spice Chicken Banh Mi + 1 Crispy roll with Passion Fruit Tea. The sandwich itself tasted very bland for it to be five-spiced. Also, requested extra jalapenos which I got none. Passion fruit tea was great. I couldn’t finish my sandwich & flies were all over my food.

Came in not sure what I’m going get with the bad reviews with all these tough critics. I’m a big pho and Vietnamese food lover. It was cool little spot the lady up front was nice

Seriously solid bahn mi. I got the lemongrass beef with extra mayo. They had a giant cucumber in it that I wish was shredded and I wish It was more marinated but all in all with the extra mayo it was REALLY good. The bread was perfectly light and crispy. The meat was pretty good. It wasn’t my absolute favorite but it was very very good. Sauces were great. Wasn’t too expensive either, I’ve been buying a couple of $20 bahn mis and I just find that insane. This one was like $12.

I was lured in by the combo deal, but unfortunately the lemongrass steak banh mi I tried was the most mid banh mi that I’ve had in Boston thus far. I honestly didn’t even bother finishing it. The Thai tea was fine, but nothing to write home about. Now I know why I was the only person in the restaurant at prime dinner hour ♀️

Went for the Cà phê sữa đá. Was disappointed. It does not tastes like a vietnamese specialty at all. It is more comparable to a normal ice coffee. Not strong at all.

Banh mi is solid, and great viet coffee (strong, dark & sweet).

Amazing Newbury gem! Excellent price/quality ratio. Probably the best bahn mi you can get in the vicinity of Kenmore/Newbury. My mom and I shared the combo and it was great value. The tofu teriyaki bahn mi had incredibly fresh ingredients and was a very solid size. Great(!!) Vietnamese coffee and delicious hot spring roll completed the combo. Self-order screens with ordering but very straight forward menu. Minimal decor but very clean.
Will absolutely stop by whenever I am in the area and to try their noodle dishes.

We ducked into this new bánh mì spot yesterday just to escape the rain, but what we found was far more than just shelter. As a Vietnamese person, I know exactly what a proper bánh mì should taste like, and I can confidently say: this place gets it RIGHT!
The bread was crisp on the outside, soft and airy inside, exactly how it should be. But it was the filling that truly impressed me: packed with flavorful, well-marinated meat, fresh pickled veggies, and just the right balance of herbs and sauces. Every bite felt authentic, satisfying, and thoughtfully crafted.
They’re currently offering a 25% off grand opening special, which makes it an even better deal, though frankly, I’d be more than happy to pay full price for this level of quality.
Highly recommended! Rain or shine.
