Just went for the first time and will definitely be back! The carne asada tacos were the best I’ve had. Lovely staff too.

You walk in and they have menus to grab near the cashier if you want to eat in. We very much appreciated this unique menu ❤️ for its Mexican AND American options. Good portions.

This is a friendly hometown diner with amazing food. They have typical diner breakfast and lunch food that is always fresh and delicious! But they also have some surprising Mexican specials that are about the best you’ll find around town! You’ll also love the friendly, low-key atmosphere and a staff that loves working there and is happy to see you. Come back a second time and they’re likely to already greet you by name! Give it a try and you’ll be glad you did!!

Although Bagner & Alexa’s has been part of the community for years, this was my first time dining here—and I’m already planning my return. We stopped in during the lunch rush, and while the counter had a steady flow of customers, the moment we placed our order, a cozy booth opened up. The timing couldn’t have been better.

The menu offers a little something for everyone, but I went straight for the chicken tacos—and I’m so glad I did. They were everything tacos should be: tender, flavorful chicken tucked into warm corn tortillas, topped with fresh onions and cilantro. The plate came with perfectly seasoned beans, fluffy rice, and a roasted jalapeño that added just the right kick. Everything arrived fresh and hot, and despite the busy kitchen, the staff moved with calm precision and teamwork that was impressive to watch.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a low noise level that made conversation easy. The café is clean, charming, and has that small-town feel that makes you want to linger. Parking was easy, prices were more than fair, and the whole experience felt like a hidden gem finally discovered.

I’ve already told my family they need to try those tacos. I’ll be back soon—not just for another plate, but to explore the rest of the menu. Bagner & Alexa’s might be a longtime local favorite, but it’s a new favorite for me.

Family diner experience with great food. We went twice in one week. Nice, clean and you can hear others at your table. This was the famers omlete and pork tenderloin burrito. Both are recommended!

A friend had recommended this place for chiliquiles, so we had to give it a try. I got the Red chiliquiles and bologna biscuit. My friends got green chiliquiles, omelets, waffles, pancakes, and more. There was something for everybody on their menu. I love they serve breakfast all day, because we like to sleep in a bit on weekends. We will definitely be back again.

Awesome food, great price. My beans and rice could have been hotter. Heat wise. It may be difficult to get into this restaurant. Packed everyday

If I could give negative stars, I would.

This place claims to be “authentic Mexican,” but honestly, I’ve had more authentic experiences eating microwave burritos. I ordered the carne asada tacos, and what I got was a culinary crime scene.

The tortilla was so floppy it could’ve doubled as a wet paper towel. The meat? Dry, no flavor, and clearly from a cow that gave up on life long before it made it to the grill.

Taco Freakin’ Bell could teach this place a thing or two about making tacos. And that’s saying something.

And the vibe? you’re going for a sweaty, chaotic, hot, loud, disorganized, and the staff don’t even know how to take orders or bring all the RIGHT ordered food at once.

Do yourself a favor: if you’re craving Mexican food, lick a packet of taco seasoning and don’t waste your time coming here!

We love eating here! This has become a go to breakfast for us. The biscuits are soft and flaky, and the Mexican choices are delicious. Afoordable, tasty, and quick.
