Ordered a 12 oz of matzo ball soup. Didn’t think I would have to ask how many matzo balls it comes with in a 12 oz container, as you can see by the size of a container I get a singular matzo ball which is barely the size of a golf ball. Not to mention it is dark and dense on the inside whereas regular matzo balls when cooked properly should be large and fluffy and that would make sense if this was a singular matzo ball but seems undercooked dense on the inside and for what essentially is a soup base of reused chicken noodle soup it has nowhere near the taste of regular matzo ball soup and is bland. Overall immensely disappointing to call this even anything close to matzo ball soup. Their other soups and sandwiches tend to be a hit out of the park can’t believe this is even on their menu.

The girl that takes the orders is not pleasant at all. The bagel breakfast sandwich was good but if you call yourself the soup king you have to have good soups. And the soups I tried (chicken noodle- no flavor, sweet chili- way too sweet) they’re not great, I won’t be getting them again.

My husband and I come here almost every weekend sometimes. Love the bagel sandwiches and soups; I highly recommend the cheeesteak soup. My favorite thing here though is the chicken, bacon, & ranch wrap, it’s so delicious. Owners & staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable, which is such a rarity these days. We love coming here!

On a cool day we decided to get some soup and bagels for lunch. We ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese and 2 small soups. The store being busy we chose the simple cream cheese instead of a hot sandwich. After 10 minutes they called our name and just to have them tell us they were out of the everything bagel and to find out they really didn’t look because they had more than a half a dozen in the bin. So we sat and waited again, watching people come in and order hot sandwiches and leave before we ever got our food. We asked about our order and were informed they were banging it now. We were eating there. So we were given the food and the soup was cold. They offered to heat them up. After waiting again just to have the soup hot on the outside and cold in the center. I don’t understand how a place that is all about the soup with about 10 soup crocks not have hot soup. And for us to wait such a long time for 2 bagels with cream cheese and 2 soups is unexpected and poor service. Its definitely not due to lack of workers because they had about 8 people working. The food had good flavor but service was a major fail. If you’re going to sell cold soup just let the people know you ran out of hot soup and all you have is cold.

Today was my first time in Bagelocity. I was unaware of certain things, as it was my first time. I found the cashier, a young woman, to be quite rude. She smirked at me when I ordered a bagel sandwich, acting like I should know the exact thing to say when placing my order. Then, I was unaware that it was self serve for the coffee. When I politely asked for my coffee she was very rude sounding and said “it’s self serve!”. I sat down to eat my sandwich and she also just seems to have a rude attitude with other customers she’s helping. Other than that, food looks and tastes great.

I walked in at 2:33 pm. I ordered a tuna wrap and 2 soups. I specifically asked for extra bread twice. Instead of getting me extra bread, the blonde girl gave me an attitude instead. Nothing serious, I just don’t care for her sarcasm or if she is annoyed I walked in. Everyone in the store seemed more concerned about closing. I know I got take out, but both my soups were really cold and I had to reheat them. I DO NOT CARE IF YOU CLOSE AT 3:30 PM! Food sucked

Stopped here for the 1st time, late morning on a Friday. Few people were waiting on their food & saw (2) 2 tops sitting down (2 at a table & 2 at a booth). Noticed they had a few booths & then on another wall was tables + a few high top tables floating between the smaller tables & the counter where you order from. I was able to walk up to the counter & order immediately. The employee taking my order was able to help me out with ordering since I had never been there before. I got a bacon, egg & xtra cheese on a toasted spinach bagel & a bacon, egg & cheese on toasted plain bagel. I paid for my order & sat down at an empty table to wait. The order came up pretty quickly & when I got it back to my husband at his job, he said that he was skeptical at 1st since we’ve tried so many other places that were mediocre so he didn’t have high expectations for this place but how he was wrong & said this was the best breakfast bagel that he’s had in a long time! I absolutely agreed! Then I showed him the pics I had snapped (while waiting) of the other menu items they have..we both can’t wait to stop in for lunch in the near future. Prices were good, not expensive for what ordered. I also read they do catering & have a huge soup selection. Will definitely be stopping in again for take out & to eat in too. Very chill atmosphere as well.

While I normally get the potato soup. I thought I’d try the vegetable today. The broth is good as for vegetables they were very minimal one small piece of a potato, 3 carrot slices. A little celery,a couple of green beans and peas. Should have been call broth and pea soup. Very disappointing since their potato soup is very good. I’m glad I got the bread with it since this was my lunch at work. No happy today for the price you should receive what is advertised in the menu.

Soup is great. A group of hardworking teens with bright futures in here. At first I felt awkward hearing a staff person who reminded me of the Mom from Malcolm in the Middle when I walked in. It was crazy busy and she grew on me while I waited. The matzoh ball soup is fresh made with chicken, chopped celery and carrots. Good for you! The gumbo is filled with spicy broth seafood and sausage. Bagel sandwiches are tasty. Fried egg was better than other places. I liked the little library. I can see there is hand painted artist’s work of the shopping center near the local bulletin corner. I can see this place getting bigger it reminded me of a Nolibs or center city cafe. Iam glad I stopped by.

Two stars just because taste is on point. I use to come here all the time back when a different group of workers worked. It seems horrible ever since the younger crew of workers took over. I asked to make sure there was an everything bagel still available when ordered see looked at all pending orders and she said yes there is i ordered up my chicken salad everything bagel soup and grilled chesse to only be called up 10 min later and told we have no everything bagel. Asked for refund for that and was meet with what felt attitude. I believe the owner was close by and over heard what was going on and not a peep of an apology from him either. It took again another atleast 10 min to recieve the other part simple soup and grilled chesse. To get home and soup cold and grilled chesse cold not warm. I will more then likely not be returning again.
January Tried again today and same old same nothing but issues ordered a cream of tomato soup grilled chesse. Was waiting for 15 maybe 20 min. Because soup was cold. They said unless i wanted cold soup. And then received wrong soup. And instead of taking accountability for the mistake turned blam on me like I ordered the wrong item. Asked for full refund and again meet by nasty attitude. I am done coming to you establishment.
