DO NOT COME HERE!!! $16 for a tiny, dry meat and soggy bread sandwich. They charged me for a hero and I got a quarter pound of pastrami on soggy rye bread. $34 for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. NEVER AGAIN!! They will rip you off after taking forever to make your sandwich. They have attitude like no other and a nonchalant “I don’t care” resting face.

They work so hard and open so early! If you’re around Monroe and need breakfast early this place is consistently the BEST bagels in Orange county. Real bagels!!! Perfectly fresh and delicious. They’ve recently started making garlic herb cream cheese which is my favorite. This place is a must for our family when we get bagels.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Bagel World in Monroe. The staff was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. While customers were in line, employees were cursing and talking negatively in Spanish, seemingly unaware—or not caring—that customers could understand them. This created an uncomfortable and disrespectful environment.
Their overall attitude toward customers was dismissive and careless. To make matters worse, I observed a rodent in the kitchen area, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety.
After this visit, I looked into their public health inspection records, and the results were very concerning, showing a poor health grade/history. Given what I personally witnessed and what’s publicly documented, this location clearly has serious issues that management needs to address immediately.
I would not recommend this place until professionalism, sanitation, and oversight are significantly improved.

Recently moved back to the area after living in NYC for a number of years. We were looking for some bagels and tried out Bagel World. Ordered two bacon egg and cheese on everything bagels, one blueberry honey cream cheese on pumpernickel, and one normal cream cheese on everything bagel.
First reaction to the bagels was weird. They are very soft and fluffy. I always expect more toothsome. Flavor was good but the everything bagels have more salt than anything else on them. I like my everything bagels to be covered in the everything!
The bacon, egg, and cheese on the bagels was tasty though! The flavored cream cheese was great. The flavors of blueberry and honey really came through.
We are two and had two the next day. After a day, they more resembled the texture I think a bagel should have. Maybe I’ll get used to the fluffiness but I really would like there to be more everything seasoning. Take a look at my photos and decide for yourself.

I am soooo dissatisfied with the quality of the food. I ordered an Asian Sesame Salad and they were out of the dressing, the chicken was rubber I couldn’t even eat it, and to top that off the wontons had an odd taste to them. Very disappointed!

Disappointing!!! I just got three bacon/egg/cheese bagels for $20. Haven’t been there is a while, but there must be new owners. Really thin sandwiches. Only one egg and barely any bacon on a $6+ sandwich. A real BUMMER!

Slowest service ever. Took about 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me. It was me and one other person there. Blonde haired lady was more interested in dumping the tip money out on the counter than servicing the person who is there to buy and order food. The Spanish lady is the only one hustling. The bacon eggs and cheese was pathetic for the price they charge. Partly warm, partly not, bagel was dry and just sub par. The tables, not a single one was clean. I wiped one down myself. For the price, horribly slow service, food lacking, and dirty tables, I’d sooner go to McDonald’s in the same parking lot! Never again! I paid $17 for 2 BEC that barely had an egg on it, and 1 medium coffee. Drive right on by this place!

To start my review, used this business several times both recently and throughout the years before i started writing reviews. Always gotten their bagels, and every time they have been great! I also eat bagels at room temperature, so no need for them to toast it.
Went here with my dad on Saturday August 3rd 2024 to pick up some bagels for our ride to wildwood. We got a dozen bagels, 4 plain, 4 everything, 2 poppy, and a couple others. They have a whole variety of Bagels, including Pumpernickel, red velvet, plain, everything, poppy seed and more! Person who took care of us was also nice, and we were taken care of right away. We enjoyed our bagels for breakfast that day, as we ate at home. Price wise it wasn’t bad either. Hope to be back soon!
