The food is always great at Bag o crab. My son and I went in yesterday for a nice lunch the snow crab was so good and had so much flavor, apart from the seasoning. I like the staff too they are always nice and polite and not intrusive like other restaurants. The only thing is the staff would come to the table about everything 5-10 minutes to ask if we were doing okay. I get it they are trying to be helpful. Everything else was great.

Been here a few times and food is usually great. Went there this past weekend and ordered the combo with the clams and all was good until the end we found a clam that had a stench that ruined my wife’s meal for her. When we brought it up for them to be aware of what’s being sent out (Omar) basically gave a look as oh well and seemed to have a bit of an attitude about it. Will eat here again as we enjoy but will definitely avoid the clams.

We door dashed so I can’t rate the atmosphere accurately. The lobster roll was very good and a good size. The shrimp boil bag was yummy also. I may get a different seasoning next time because I was a bit salty for my liking and it was drowning in the sauce. I forgot to take a picture of the bag.
I would like to see the difference of dinning in rather than takeout

Not my first time picking up dinner here. Food is great, but tonight we got this. My daughters love the clams and one of them mentioned a little rock in one. It’s normal to get one here and there, but a closed clam full of mud is not okay. Maybe make sure all clams are open and clean before putting in customers bag. We live out of town and unfortunately our dinner was ruined.
Will eat here again, but no clams.

Shrimp is delicious. I love the garlic flavor, the medium heat just has enough bite to it. Their potatoes are delicious and so is the corn. When you order anything in the bag it arrives to your table pretty fast. Any appetizers, soup , garlic bread or anything else not in a bag will take quite some time so be patient…lol. Staff is young but friendly and fast. Your order arrives on a little robot and the waitress will hand you your order from the Robot. They definitely have improved from when they first opened up and I have gone several times since then.
Make sure you ask what for the the Market Price for crab legs, crawfish, lobster tail, because it can get a bit pricey. Seafood is fresh tasting and it’s nice they offer white rice! Enjoy

I usually get the pound of shrimp and crab legs combo but pictured is shrimp & crawfish with sausage, potato, and corn w/ garlic butter sauce. This is my go to place if I’m craving seafood boil. The soda/water always taste dirty from the fountain so order canned/bottled. The sauce is never consistent. The shrimp is always over cooked and sometimes I feel like they are old. You can order them head on or off.

Been a customer here since they opened . The guys are usually really nice , the girls mostly have an attitude specially the one that is usually behind the counter , I THINK THE OWNER HAS NO IDEA HOW THEY RUN THIS PLACE LATELY , not to mention the restrooms lately are always a mess , broken door locks ,floors always sticky , the hand soap was watered down im sure that’s a health violation and worst thing was ..after I enjoyed my meal I went to wash my hands and almost threw up, the bathrooms smell like sewer all the time lately ! It ruined my whole mood, got nausea tbh , and honestly I don’t think I’m going back soon.

Third time was not the charm! Thursday evening, not that busy, we were kinda of greeted at the front desk and then seated. We sat for about 10 to 15 minutes and no one ever acknowledged us. So we left and eat at Red Lobster.

Dined here for lunch on a Sunday. When we first arrived, it wasn’t too busy. We were seated right away and had our order taken within a reasonable time. My dad ordered a small bowl of clam chowder and a side of garlic bread, my mom and I each ordered a basket of fried fish with garlic fries and for my daughter, we ordered the basket of chicken tenders with fries. Each of our meals (not including drinks) was about $11 each, which isn’t too bad.
Once our order was placed and we received our drinks, it was a bit of a waiting game. Their robot server (interesting but not necessary, since the waitress still came over and handed us our food off the tray) first brought out my dad’s clam chowder, about 10 minutes later came the 3pc garlic bread/Texas toast. Then another 10-15 minutes after that came the rest of our order. Would have been nice if everything came out all at once.
Their fried basket options have pretty big portions that could easily be enough to share (especially young kids), depending on everyone’s appetite. The garlic fries were probably the best part of the meal for me. The fried fish had a good crunch but because they’re thinly filleted, they were a bit dry. Had to liven them with a good squeeze of lemon juice and tarter sauce. I also tried some of my daughter’s chicken tenders. I prefer crunchy breading in which these seemed to be more of a flour batter. I found the flavor on them to be lacking as well.
Overall, I found what we ordered to be a bit lackluster. Their seafood bags I would hope are better as that is probably what they are more known for.
I also have to wonder how much single use waste this restaurant generates. Before ordering, the waitress brought over a small stack of paper trays, plastic bibs, packets of plastic gloves, hand wipe towelettes, plastic utensils, a small plastic condiment cup with a dash of mixed salt and pepper and a tied plastic bag with lemon wedges. Our drinks (a water and 2 iced teas) came in plastic cups, we ordered an apple juice which was in a plastic bottle. The chowder came in a to-go soup bowl with lid, the bread came on a paper tray. The only reusable thing we saw was the metal fry trays lined with a sheet of paper that our fried food was on.
I’m sure its easier for them to just pickup up the paper table cover with everything on it to toss away when faced with the aftermath of a table eating a seafood bag but if we didn’t use this stuff, do they just guess and put it back in their supply (not very sanitary) or just throw it away too?

Kind of small lobster roll for almost $30 but super delicious. Clean place. Fast service. Friendly staff. Good quality, reusable to-go bag. Wish we had one of these in Sacramento.
