I got the deluxe chicken sandwich, got Nashville style and it was great. Spicy, delicious, one of my favorite chicken sandwiches I’ve had in Portland. The sandwich was pretty big as well.
I got a side of Mac n Cheese as well. The Mac n Cheese was a bit over salty for me, but it had a great pepper kick and I did enjoy it. The sides are pricey, so i only got one, but I would have liked to try others.
I am looking forward to trying their other chicken styles in the future and other sides.

Really nice and clean atmosphere shared with Kinnamons cinnamon rolls also additional covered patio seating. Menu offered sandwiches, chicken pieces, wings, tenders, half bird to whole bird and array of seasoning options and dipping sauces. Peach bbq sauce is amazing!

I ordered only the jumbo chicken strips. I got a really good chicken. It was so tender and juicy inside. The spices on the flour were on point tho! Even the pickles were good. It wasn’t that busy when I came. The portion was fair. But I must admit that it was kinda pricey for a chicken.

Some of the juiciest, yummiest seasoned chicken tenders ever. The waffles fries and fry sauce were also fantastic. I was worried I wouldn’t like the mac and cheese because it’s saucy rather than cheesy, but even that was super good. Overall, delicious food for a reasonable price with a decent atmosphere (could be cleaner). Also great playlist!!

After hearing about all the hype about this place having the best fried chicken in Portland I decided to take my mom while she is visiting me. We drove to the Alberta location just to find out that it is permanently closed. You need to mark that on Google maps that your permanently close so people aren’t going thereto eat a a closed restaurant. It’s really not that hard to let Google maps know that you’re no longer at that location. Had to go to the one on Ash Street which is close to where I live already so it was a big waste of a drive. We ordered the whole chicken Traditional flavor, four sauces, four sides and two fountain sodas. First shocker each fountain soda was $4ea a little overpriced for the size that is equal to a can of Coke. Let’s just say this is some of the worst fired chicken I’ve ever had. It is bland not much in the way of seasonings at all, super dry, and only slightly crispy. The flavor I got from the chicken was burnt flour. McDonald’s chicken nuggets are better flavored. The sides are super small how can a family of four share a side thats only like one bite each out of a side (containers are 8 oz containers but not filled to the top only like 4-5 oz of side). The mashed potatoes were mediocre including the gravy. The corn was way overcooked and dried out looking with some weird taste to it. The waffle fries were soggy and soft and not crispy like they should be. The mac and cheese was horrible was like a buttery noodle with some cheap cheese whiz. Spending $70 on this meal is a ridiculous price for what is offered. I could have gotten too awesome ribeye steak dinners for that. Super disappointing I will never go back and I will never ever recommend this place to anyone unless you want the worst fried chicken and sides in the world.

I’ve been here a few times and luckily avoided the situations described in the 1-star reviews. The chicken is mid, the waffle fries are decent, and the sauces are okay. Staff is always nice to me. But prepare to feel greasy and gross the rest of the day. So much grease. And a little overpriced I think. The vibe is nice in there and it’s spacious and decorated nicely.

Disappointed and Disgusted: A Horrifying Dining Experience
We were incredibly excited to try Bae’s fried chicken. It was our first time in Portland and the first place that we decided to eat at, but our experience was nothing short of horrifying. We originally dined in and everything was good, we had leftovers so we excitedly packed them up. After a 3-hour drive back to Seattle the first thing we wanted to do was eat our leftovers, so we threw them in the air fryer real quick. Upon biting into our chicken wings, we were met with raw, bloody meat. This is an absolutely unacceptable health hazard.
Beyond the grossness, the entire experience was ruined. We’re deeply concerned about the potential health risks and the lack of quality control in the kitchen. We urge others to avoid this restaurant until they can ensure food safety standards are being met.

FABULOUS FRIED CHICKEN
Chicken is phenomenal and I love that their Nashville Hot chicken is actually spicy.
This place is lacking on the sides. Gravy is shmeh, sauces are lackluster, and I don’t ever want to get anything besides their chicken.
Normal downtown flora exist near here and you’re rolling the dice visiting this cute location.

Favorite spot in Portland for some fried wangs! I’ve needed to post this for a while, as I’ve been there at least 10 times. Their photo is their Jim Beam Japanese barbecue special for Portland Wing Week.
Their wings are big and crispy to perfection. The honey butter drizzle is amazing and my go-to, but the barbecue is messy and decadent. The Texas toast is always a buttery crisp, and the dill pickle slices are always a nice little bit of tang.
I’ve only gotten the waffle fries once, but they feed an army for $6. Their ranch dipping sauce is the best I’ve ever had. The beer selection is light, craft and relatively cheap. Get over there already!

The chicken is always delicious but more often than not the staff is cold and wishing you would order somewhere else. When the dining room is closed you are required to order online where all menu items are about $2 more expensive than ordering at the counter. I never have a good experience here but keep coming back because it’s close.
