We tried the lunch specials—the BBQ Ribs ($23) and Bulgogi ($23)—which stand out as some of the most affordable Korean options in the area. Both dishes delivered solid, well-balanced flavors and were straightforward, easy to enjoy, making them well-suited for lunch. Each order includes three personal side dishes that rotate seasonally. Small place so seating is limited.

This is my go-to for amazing Korean food in a comfy, casual setting. Everything is freshly prepped and comes out quickly. The prices are very reasonable and the waitstaff are always super nice. I cannot recommend it more. ❤️

Came here to try the food for the first time a couple weeks ago and all I have to say is this spot was a HIT. Spicy fried chicken and the rice cake with Oreo ice cream sandwich are my go to‼️ They have their own taste and it has me coming back whenever I can for it. The chicken has a crunch indescribably fire and the desserts are fun options you can’t pass up. Service was great, the atmosphere is its own and it gives a feeling that makes you forget you’re in seaside. Coming back always. Thank you guys

Great food and service. We enjoyed everything, the tofu soup, the Bada rolls, the ramen and the KFC!
(Healed my wound from the awful lunch we had in Carmel!)

Very hard to find good service now a days. OMG, people…back to the food….those chicken wings are the BIGGEST I have ever had and they were DELICIOUS You must try it

This is a complete hidden gem of a restaurant. EVERYTHING was amazing – I had the beef tofu soup, tteokbokki and japchae – they were excellent. The service was fantastic and the ambience is cozy, clean and casual. I cannot wait to go back!

My family love here 🙂
Went to this place when we came to visit out of town!
So good! Mandoo soft soup was so good. I enjoyed the soup and the flavor.
And they have a Korean style chicken , and king tonkatsu these are best of town!

Food was delicious. Waitress was helpful and sweet. Music was a little loud and that’s the reason for the 4 stars on atmosphere. Otherwise very good and I’ll be back!

We came for a weeknight dinner and had no wait. Not sure if it’s different on weekends. Plenty of parking also on a weeknight.

Ordered tofu soup, mandu, fried chicken, and bulgogi. All of it was good and would order it again but the bulgogi. The meat was good but wish there more meat than onions and mushrooms.

Super delicious Ramen and sushi! My husband and I decided to check out Kokoro as he loves Ramen and I’m a big fan of sushi. He got the karage and Tonkatsu Ramen regular spicy and I got the red dragon roll added cream cheese and a shoyu ramen. I loved my ramen and sushi they were so delicious. Most ramen we’ve eaten has a chasu roll instead of strips of meat like Kokoro. We were pleasantly surprised by the taste and texture of the pork strips, they were so tasty! Overall we loved the ramen but the spice was not evenly distributed through the spicy ramen. The first bite was very spicy but the ramen got less spicy as he got towards the bottom of the bowl.

I loved my Red dragon roll with the purple rice! The purple rice tastes the same as regular rice but adds a cool visual effect. The sushi was so good but it had just a bit too much cream cheese. In the future I’d say I only want a little bit of cream cheese added. The chicken karage pieces were HUGE and definitely worth the cost. They came with a lemon aioli.

Lastly, while the servers were very nice we did have to ask for things often. We asked for water when we ordered our food and I had to ask again once our food was served as we still hadn’t gotten our water. I had to ask twice for a refill as well. We also had to ask for soy sauce for our sushi. To make it easier on the servers we thought it would make sense to keep soy sauce at the tables. Another thing some restaurants do is give the table a small pitcher of water.

While there was some struggles we’re taking them with a grain of salt as the restaurant just opened and everyone is figuring things out. The food was so delicious and we can’t wait to go again. Fingers crossed Kokoro is here to stay! This is now our favorite ramen shop on the peninsula.
