Went here for dinner with my wife and friends and it was okay. I honestly don’t know what to make of this place. It’s fine dining in Spencerport?
Their food was okay. I had the chicken and dumplings and it was okay, but nothing spectacular. My friend ordered the surf and turf but it was not what he expected. The server was super nice though which made our experience good.
I don’t know if I would come back but if you are curious about trying this place it would be worth a try. Just not my kind of food I guess.

We like Bad Apples – we like that the menu changes seasonally. In general, it may be a tad on the expensive side – but I’ve always said I don’t mind paying for good food. We liked the fig & pig flatbread pizza appetizer, they had a scallop and potato special that was also good and it was a nice night for Mac and cheese.
Since it was our anniversary dinner – we also got a bottle of their moscato.
Dessert was the apple crisp with their toffee ice cream and affogato- we also like that make their ice cream in-house.

I’d like to offer my compliments to the chef, the service staff and wait staff. Our dinner was fantastic, and we look forward to returning another time for another wonderful meal. Though it was a busy night, we arrived for our reservation and were leaving 50 minutes later, though we didn’t feel rushed at all. The table turns were fast and seemless, there was always someone ready with a pour of water or to get you something. And, our dinner was an amazing presentation, with such a nice blend of taste and texture. Thank you all for a wonderful meal-

Nice place and inviting atmosphere. Music in the background was pleasant. I had salmon and my partner had poblano stuffed peppers. I appreciated the experimental flavor combination and ingredients -I would have never imagine combining salmon with beans- but it was actually good. I also tried the crème brûlée and didn’t disappoint. The only small issues: the potato salad had too much mayonnaise, but that’s just me. And we waited some time to be seated even though the place seemed pretty empty. Other than that it was pretty good.

My girlfriend and I did not have a reservation when we visited. You should probably make one before you come they get extremely busy. Food was great, we got the muscles for the appetizer. I got the spring salmon, my girlfriend got the cranberry Burger food was great. Service was great, five stars all around!

If you are considering Bad Apples, stop and make a reservation now! You will not be disappointed. The food and service are amazing. This place equals or even exceeds downtown high end dining. The lamb shank is a must have. The Mac n cheese with fries chicken is incredible.
