Sat at the bar for lunch. Bartender was very busy but he accommodated us great anyway! Super attentive and a true craft beer snob! Don’t ask for any domestics on tap. It’s very offensive to them. lol. Great Lobster Dip and Philly Pizza. Loud dining room but they get the job done. We love to Support local and it’s just a small walk from parking. Great Sangria and wine selections. Professional food runners had pride in their food. Close to the arena and Pullman Center.

This is “Emma Stone’s ‘yum’ gif from Easy A” good. You may be unsure about the toppings. Stop it and just pick something. I had the Pear pizza and I wish I’d gotten the bigger one so I could eat more it was surprisingly good, I’m glad I wasn’t wearing socks or I’d have lost them. I also got the chocolate porter and haystack dessert. The aforementioned gif applies to all of this. I cannot go and neglect to mention how sweet the staff were as well! I had so much fun there!

Everything is cooked to order at the restaurant. Pizza is great and can be GF. The dessert Backyard Haystack is wonderful. It’s located in Huntington WV this is our dinner stopping point. It is usually packed because it is in a college town. If there anything going on in town or a football game/homecoming weekend expect a wait. Make a reservation.

I had the Rockefeller Oysters to begin with! The flavor combinations in that dish were amazing! Topped with what looks like creamy spinach, crumbled bacon, and buttery breadcrumbs and also had some Parmesan flavors in it.
Then for the pizza I had the Milano!
Such creamy Alfredo sauce and the cheeses all blend together, it was like I was in ratatouille when Remy would try food! Such an amazing blend of flavors and it being from a wood stove gave the bread a beautiful char. The bread was also very fluffy and filling!
Out of the entire menu there was a big selection of pizzas so when you come there will be a wide selection to pick from!

We love Backyard pizza! The crab rangoon pizza and milano are our favorites. Always quick service and there’s beautiful murals to look at in the meantime.

Highly recommend the Mac Miller Pizza! The Crab pizza is decent as well. Even though a lot of tables were empty, we waited at least 20 minutes to be seated. Food arrived timely, waitress was friendly, but the environment was very loud & dark. Overall, pricey, but good food. 2/4 of our group said they’d return to eat there again.

One of Huntington’s premier dining spots for both lunch and dinner. I love this place. The Lobster cheese sticks are out of this world, and the Brunch menu here is fantastic. You will not be disappointed at the pizza menu. An array of old favorites, as well as new, modern classics. I’m not an oyster guy, but I’ve heard wonderful things from friends. Try the Flying Piggie, Nashville Hot, Memphis, or the Olde New York. Drew is a super nice guy and does good for our community. Easily 5 stars.

This is one of me and my fiancée’s favorite places to eat in the area. We’ve been here for both dinner and Sunday brunch and recommend both.
For dinner I always get the Wootang pizza for the simple fact that the Schwing sauce is to die for. My fiancée is a big fan of the Nashville hot pizza. For brunch my go to is the big bad wolf or any of their delicious breakfast pizzas. Have also had the shrimp and grits which are also great
Service is always great and people are always nice but wait times on things like getting seated, refills, and getting your order taken can vary heavily depending on how busy the restaurant is. However this is no fault of the wait staff.
The “atmosphere” is great. It is a pretty laid back place and you can tell by going in there that they support their local community with several local craft beers on tap.

We just recently heard about this place even though we’ve been to The Peddler next door several times. I’m really glad we did, because this food was incredible. We got the lobster cheese sticks, the crab rangoon pizza, and the Praise Dale Raise Kale pizza. Everything was very good, but the pizza was exceptional. The sweet chili sauce on the crab rangoon pizza is a perfect compliment to the other flavors. We will definitely be back.
Edit: we’ve been back several times and each time has been great. Service is always friendly and fast. The Crab Rangoon pizza is definitely a favorite and we usually get one of those as an appetizer, then each try one of their other pizzas we haven’t yet. Backyard is for sure a favorite place for us and has become part of our rotation.
