Excellent quality. Homemade flavor. The eggplant dip and roti flat bread is amazing. The eggplant dip has a deep smokey flavor with a subtle nutty undertone. It is made with their in-house yogurt so creamy and just perfectly complimenting the dip.
The roti was phenomenal. It was stretchy and soft but firm enough to hold you entree.
I love indian for but my stomach does not. However, i found the spice of food here perfectly leveled and cooked enough that it is not heavy on my stomach!
10/10 recommended.

The banner reads “there’s two kinds of people: those who never tried Indian food and those who love Indian food”. I stepped up to this tent as the former and left the latter. Not knowing what to sample first, I went with the owner’s suggestions…she gave sample after sample of the freshest most decadent recipes I’ve had. Each bursting with flavors both fresh and savory, sweet and crisp. We immediately knew what was on the menu for dinner. We sampled the butter chicken, vegetable rice, butter paneer and eggplant paneer along with fresh toppings and condiments. This was a great experience for someone looking to expand their culinary palette and it did not disappoint!

Backyard Buffalo is an absolute gem! The menu is packed with incredible authentic flavors. I tried the Butter Chicken and Palak Paneer, and both were rich and comforting. You definitely have to save room for dessert—the Shrikhand is amazing (the Cardamom Pistachio flavor is a must-try!). Don’t leave without a Mango Lassi; it really is ‘liquid sunshine’ in a cup. Highly recommend

Everything is delicious! I always see the products at native sun in Jax beach but saw their stand at the riverside arts market today and tried almost everything. The ladies were so sweet, informative about ingredients and what to pair everything with. Healthy ingredients now I won’t just look at the products in native sun. I will be buying them! I know they’re always at the art market too! Thanks so much for the experience me and my cousin loved it

Yum! Backyard Buffalo has so many amazing combinations of great things and so many surprising taste. It’s definitely a must stop anytime I go to the market and I find myself going to the grocery store looking for specific guidance for there is pretty often. I highly recommend.

Backyard buffalo has such an amazing assortment of options. Fresh local yogurt yogurts. Butter chicken. Turmeric soup. I am not a vegetarian, but their vegetarian options are so good that I tried several of them. We encountered them at the Riverside arts market in Jacksonville and I’m so glad they were here.
You have to try the mango lassi. It is absolutely amazing. Healthy and so flavorful.

The team at Backyard Buffalo is just as amazing as thier food. Since there are people who are skiddish about trying new foods they always allow them to sample everything. The food os always authentic and delicious flavor bombs. The smells will lure you in first then you get locked in by the flavors. Bonus they are very socially conscious, and they provide reusable cups and spoons for all their samples, instead of filling up our land with so much one use products.
