An absolute find in a tiny place like Hulett. Up on a hill overlooking golf course and Devil’s Tower in the distance. The food was all outstanding quality. We ended up eating there four times in two days, we liked it that much. Great cocktails (be sure to see the huge antique bar), the grilled pork loin was delicious and the broccolini was perfect and the elk tenderloin was a treat. Ate outside twice – flies were a bit of a bother. Inside nicely appointed The staff was really excellent – especially Sarah. Highlight of the trip, worth the stop.

We read about this restaurant on our way to spend the weekend in the area and one of us wants to be a food critic, and the reviews said this was affordable, so why not.
The staff is welcoming, accommodating and make you feel like you belong. Which was so nice and warm. Didn’t feel like we were too out of place. The manager was super kind and you really should take note that she is very attentive.
The atmosphere was beautiful and worth taking a gander over. Beautiful animals spread through the restaurant. So check the bar area and the over 130 year old bar back. Absolutely stunning.
Now to the food, it was pretty amazing all around. No complaints. Two in the party opted to share a 12 oz New York Strip and the kitchen did an amazing job splitting the meal, we also had the prime rib and the ribeye meals. Food was presented beautifully, it was extremely well prepared and very delicious. Didn’t have to worry if anything would have come under or over cooked.
At this point we knew what we were getting for our price and while it can be affordable, for a standard American Family passing through the area it is not. It’s along the lines of $$$-$$$$ per meal. That truly was the only bad thing I have to say about the locaation. If you got the burgers or other meal it would be a bit more affordable but getting the steak meal took it out of affordable.
Do stop and have a meal if you can it’s worth it

Very nice place, food was amazing along with the service. Unfortunately I live 6 hrs away so will not make it back soon. We rode atvs from Bear Lodge Mountain, it was a great trip and will definitely stop by next time.

This is a great place to go to. The atmosphere is astounding, with the Devil’s Tower in the background and the beauty of the golf course. Inside is elegant, and they even have an old school bar. The service was excellent, as the waiters and waitresses are always there to assist and serve. The food was great in terms of taste. My only issue was the lack of food offered and the size of some of the meals. I am someone who likes more basic dishes and only a limited number of food choices. Admittedly, the tomato soup and the chicken parmesan were the only two menu options I liked. The food was excellent, but compared to the reuben, the chicken parmesan was small, and I left still hungry after having the soup and chicken. I will say the price was fair and affordable, but most of my tour group said they were full, and I did not feel like the chicken parmesan was enough. That being said, the restaurant is upsacle, affordable, and luxurious. If you like more upscale and fancy foods, this is a great place for you. I still enjoyed it; I just would prefer more options and certain meals being more fulfilling.

The 77 feels like an old-school Chicago steakhouse, in a good way. The restaurant, located within The Golf Club at Devils Tower, is richly adorned with carved mahogany, big game taxidermy and brass ceilings. We ate dinner here two days in a row it was so good. Both nights we had the pretzel and cheese apps. Both nights I had the fish, walleye and salmon respectively both were excellent. The broccolini was good. The steak lovers enjoyed their steaks as well.

We stayed in town to visit Devil’s Tower Monument, and with limited food options available, most places had already closed by the time we arrived. It was a relief to find this restaurant open, offering a much-needed dining option. The menu had a great variety, including vegetarian choices alongside the usual steakhouse fare, and everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and fitting for the area, adding to the overall experience. We were seated near the bar, and the service was outstanding. We also found the prices to be reasonable for the high quality food and beverages. While we initially chose this spot out of convenience, it quickly became a favorite that we’ll be sure to revisit whenever we’re back in town.

Lovely view while dining al fresco. A magpie visited us. The bison ravioli was quite nice. The salad croutons were excellent.

We stopped at Devils Tower at 5 pm then decided we were going to stay in Hullet and found 77 Steakhouse. You have to drive up a curvy road through what looks like an upscale residential area without markings so use GPS. The food was quick but very close to top notch. I had the half rack of ribs which were amazing. For my side, I had the homemade Mac and Cheese, I finished all of it. It was really good. My wife had the Tower burger and she rated it 4 out of 5 with the only reason for a 4 due to only a couple of small onions on the burger as she loves onions. The atmosphere is beautiful with wildlife mounts everywhere. Make sure you stop and look at the bar as it is said to be from the 1800’s. It is super cool! I could not finish the meal as the portions are generous.

This place is absolutely gorgeous & clean. The food was great, not great enough to justify the prices, but still very happy with the food!! The views are breathtaking! Despite the prices, I’d definitely go back to the 77 Steakhouse & Saloon simply because of the amazing views & good food combo. It was the best & most relaxing lunch experience I’ve had!

I don’t normally give out 5 Stars on everything but they deserve 100 Stars
From the second we walked through the door to the time we left absolutely the best experience in a steakhouse the two staff members Caitlin and Cathy were very friendly helpful and professional always smiling and made sure everyone had great options to choose from because of health issues. They made all of us have an amazing time the food was really delicious and like art work. The atmosphere was awesome the scenery was beautiful and very peaceful it’s on a golf course and I really appreciate that the member’s opened this to the public too be able to enjoy this kind of fine dining at a very reasonable price their was six of us and it was under 150.00
If you’re in this area visiting or passing through be sure to save room in your belly for this place and please be kind to the club and obey the rules and respect the property so the public can continue to have this place to enjoy with them
