Googled up “Best Biscuits and Gravy near me” and the Backwoods Cafe came up as a good choice. As I drove there I got to thinking about another favorite breakfast of mine…. Eggs Benedict. So when I arrived at the Cafe I saw on the menu the “Snow Slide” which is a combination of the two. If you like Biscuits and Gravy and Eggs Benedict you definitely need to try the Snow Slide. Everything about it was awesome. I chose the seasoned Red potatoes to go with it and they were very good. Service was excellent as well. Recommended!!

The exterior makes you think twice about entering, it is a strip mall like building and doesn’t look like much. But it is cute and country on the inside and the food is fantastic! Great fast service, good menu choices to pick from, and the food is really good! If this place had a better location it would be so busy you wouldn’t be able to get a table….. so go out of the way and look past the outside and then enjoy!

OMG the service was the best ever. The owner was one of our servers and she was so sweet, friendly, and a hard worker. We had our coffee refilled several times. Our water too. And they actually served us our breakfast hot and came back and checked are a minute or 2 to see if everything was OK. NOONE DOES THAT ANYMORE. If we r ever in that area again we would go there..oh btw food was delish.

Overall the food I ordered was delicious. I had the Farmer Burger with the house chips. I also tried their country fried steak with pancakes, eggs, hash browns, & man their sausages was also delicious. I’ll likely go here to eat again if I happen to be nearby there.

This is a hidden gem… best breakfast lunch spot in Yakima!! My favorite classic eggs Benedict and hash browns, great coffee!! Love this place! Should try it out when in town! Owners are very nice!! They will take care of you!!!
