My family and I visited on 3/3/26, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the price point. The evening was defined by a series of inventory issues; after ordering, we were informed they were out of sweet tea, then brisket, and finally—20 minutes into our sit-down—the chicken and waffles.
While the server was pleasant and attempted to rectify the situation by removing an appetizer and a drink from our bill, the overall pace was incredibly slow. We spent an hour waiting for a meal that ultimately never materialized as intended. I should also mention that there only appeared to be one server and an empty interior dining room. The outdoor seating is lovely, but given the high prices and lack of basic menu availability by 7:30 PM, we will not be returning.

Went here the other night with a few friends and had a great time. They had live music on stage, surprisingly good food, and amazing drinks. Nice to see a new spot like this pop up. Recommend for anyone looking for a good dinner / hang out spot with friends or family. The outdoor seating is really nice as well. Definitely going for a repeat visit next week.

No sign on the outside of the building that says Backroads Brewhouse. I walked around the whole shopping center and had to call to find the restaurant. Food was good, but only one waitress for the whole restaurant!!!

Absolutely loving the transition from Larry’s into Backroads!!! The new food and drink menu is fire and they even kept my favorite menu item from the previous menu, can’t get enough of this place. Also if Blake is your bartender just know you’re in great hands, he’s always been extremely attentive, efficient, and respectful the couple of times I’ve had him as my bartender, will definitely be back soon!

We came in with a group of 6. Server seemed flustered and poorly trained.
Drinks were good and beer was frosty cold.
The food, especially the bbq was excellent.
However, the reason that we won’t be returning is the manager.
He was running around not really doing much other than playing bartender but it’s when he stopped at our table that everyone in my group were taken aback.
He reeked of marijuana. Not just a little bit. And was obviously high
How does a “reputable” restaurant allow their GM to come into work high and reeking of marijuana. I guess since it has the reputation as a college bar it’s acceptable.
Definitely not a place that I or my friends will visit again. Certainly not a place for families.
