The cocktails tasted amazing. The service at the bar was a bit snarky. They did not greet us and did not look like they wanted to be there.
The bar had a great atmosphere besides the staff, and we were able to get a table right away. The food came out quickly and was very good.
The arcade downstairs was very cool, with lots of different games to choose from. The pinball machines were a bit overpriced ($1/play). It’s a great place to hang out with friends on a Friday/Saturday night!

Staff was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Particularly your Lead, Mike who went above and beyond to make sure everything was done as requested.
Tyler and Steve at the bar were also great with our guests. This is one of our favorite places to hold an event. Great atmosphere and amazing pizza from Driftless!

Good beer but very weird vibes. Apparently a good portion of the bar was reserved for a private event but there were no signs saying what areas were blocked off. Staff also laughed at us when we asked about it. Staff seemed upset when we asked a single question about the beers. A man also slipped on ice because the outside wasn’t salted

Had a great time at this place. Love the fact the pool and shuffle board are free. Loved the beers, and we all loved the arcade. Got food here, food was fine. Venue is amazing, done well with it.
Caters to a wide audience which can be both good and bad depending on what type of night you want.
Only thing that didnt really sit well was I ordered the food and got a buzzer and a map of where to collect it, it wasnt brought to table, fair enough.
However i had a tab going and when it was closed out it asked for a tip starting at 18%, fair enough, however i did have to get the food myself so i didnt really feel that this was earned just for pouring drinks and punching the order intot he screen.

Fun bar area with duck pin bowling, pool tables, shuffleboard and a big arcade in the basement. Connected to another place so there are food options available. Went with another family and had a great time. Ordered three different flavors of wings, a bit pricey at almost $2/per..sauce was tasty but the wings could’ve been crispier. Great beer options!

Booking the small event room was a perfect space to celebrate my golden birthday with a small group and little ones. The games, food and drinks were great and the friendly staff were helpful with all questions and requests. Definitely keeping this and the other spaces available in mind for future events!

We had our wedding reception at Backpocket (the North room) and it was amazing. It was the perfect size for our party and the space is cozy, warm and welcoming. Makaylee handled things for us and made planning and executing everything such an easy process. The food was fantastic and everyone had great things to say about it. The bartender was great and everyone who helped with setup/food/breakdown was wonderful. It made our day as stress free as one can hope for a wedding. Thank you to Makaylee and everyone at Backpocket who made it amazing!

Great beer selection. I’m not too busy in the bar, but it’s hard to find parking in the area due to other shops/stores. It gets busy in the evening. Lots of arcade games. We had a small wait for duck pin bowling, but it was too long. This duck pin is elevated from the standing area, which made it a little weird, but we enjoyed our game.

Hosted my son’s birthday here. I will say that the space was awesome and it was nice and secluded, working to keep tiny ones corralled.
I will say the booking process …. is a little strange. I’d agree when requesting to book it’s a pretty quick response, but no name, not sure who you are talking to.
Our bartender didn’t seem to know what he was doing and told myself and other people that he had never been in the cellar before. He didn’t even know what NA options were available. It was a little worrisome. At least it was only a 4year olds birthday.
Food was out on time, all was good. Guests seemed to enjoy.
However, the total cost of $720 for the baby grand, chips salsa, space rental and gratuity I felt was high, but at the end of the day, I didn’t have to cook or clean my home to invite people in. I felt the gratuity that was mandatory was just for people to cook the food (which I agree they should receive compensation) but it was $100 to have people drop off food, the bartender to be on his phone 90% of the time he was downstairs. As a former member of the service industry I know I wouldn’t argue myself with auto grat, however it just felt like a lot for the minimal effort that the help provided. The most helpful one of all was Mikaylee. She was awesome!!!

All in all, I love coming to the millwork and supporting small businesses. We will continue to come, but not sure if we will host another party here. I just didn’t totally feel as supported as I was hoping in the planning process.

Had an End of Season party for a youth football team in the Arcade room. Absolutely perfect area! Right next to the arcade (kids were barely in the room anyway). Staff had our pizza order ready and set it up with everything we needed. Would 100/100 recommend for and “kid” group!
