Awesome stop after riding the Back of the Dragon. Great customer service by the friendly staff. They have a good selection of merchandise from clothing to trinkets. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza and a drink, both were delicious. They have a great map of the area rides for motorcyclist and a place to relax after a long drive.

2nd trip to the back the dragon in a month. Ultra Glide 1st and Can Am RT 2nd. We love this place!! He spared no expense. Everything is top notch. Merch, self tap and food are on point. Definitely worth visiting. We ordered the pizza crisp this time and it was perfect!!
Side note: Tazewell Police Dept. needs to quit sitting across the street I’m 34yrs Sheriffs Deputy “still working”. Chief or Mayor should cut that out. Bad look and bush league. Owner is bringing great business to the area.

One of the more challenging roads around, the road itself rocks in the middle sand on the sides in the turns. Half a tree down in a shady spot today 6″ almost ran it over pot holes 16″ wide and 16″ deep. Pavement is patchy. Big dips before hard turns. A mix of the tale of the dragon and then rattle and the snake all in one in my opinion. Swung by oak hill on the way back and the gym was open nice.

Update – 5 years later
The road is still absolutely amazing! The ride never disappoints. The souvenir shop/food/bar is decent—love the patches, stickers, and shirts.
But… $4.50+ for a beer? This is Tazewell, not Carowinds. We hung around for over an hour and didn’t see a single person at the “beer wall.” Once we realized it was 50¢ an ounce, it made sense. I get that this is a tourist spot, but please don’t turn it into a tourist trap. Bikers won’t put up with that—they’ll try it once, then move on.
If it keeps up, another spot in town will grab the riders while this one turns into just a shirt stop for yuppies. Honestly, I miss the old double-wide that used to be here. As for me, I’ll grab my beer down the road.
Great road. Beautiful scenery. Tight curves. Nice little souvenir shop. Life size dragon in front. Shirts, stickers and patches all to commemorate the ride on 16 – Back of the Dragon.

Had an absolute blast riding the Back of the Dragon today! Beautiful weather and roads. The food truck though… *chefs kiss* 5 stars for the food as well. Also loaded up on merch because why not?

Being from Michigan, I was finally able to squeeze this in on a road trip, and it was definitely worth it. Everything you could possibly need is all right here, food, coffee bar, beer, indoor/outdoor seating, clothing, patches, stickers. The Scottish Ale was really good, as was the pulled pork from the food truck or back. This place really is a gem. 8/4/23
