Normally this would be a 4-4 1/2 ⭐️ but it’s a toll road plaza not a restaurant in the city. I got the 2 meat dinner and honestly I’ll be stopping here every time I pass by from now on. With a drink was under $15. They have 3 booths. It you could always eat outside or inside McDonalds. I added a little bbq original to my beans and it really set them off. The Mac n Cheese was creamy and noddles weren’t over cooked. Definitely worth the try!

Chopped brisket and sliced brisket. Both taste great! Fast and easy to order coz of small choice of menu which I personally found out as an advantage. Guys are polite and professional. Place looks clean. Price is more than fair. Will try to remember this plaza and place to visit again while traveling I-44 EB. Highly recommend to order food here than somewhere else at this plaza

Food was delightful! I had the Back 40 potato and it was cooked to perfection. Flavorful, smooth, creamy and stuffed with brisket, sour cream, cheese, jalapeños and bacon bits. The flavor was magnificent! This place is a must try when passing through.

It’s in the Loves truck stop/service area. Worker was very slow for it being a truck stop area. Meat was dry and not a lot of flavor. If you cover it in sauce it’s not bad. Worked in a pinch.

Don’t know why a BBQ place is putting pickles on everything especially whenever they where not asked for at all? Don’t eat here it’s pathetic there’s something wrong with my food every time I eat here which I won’t be after today… it’s gross and the employees have no clue what they are even doing.

It’s a travel plaza, so I’m reviewing accordingly. Brisket was good, not too dry. Mac and cheese was OK, baked beans were very basic. Prices are reasonable. Definitely beats the fast food burger places.

Avoid the smoked sausages. They taste verry refrigerated and taste like a barnyard. Verry gross they should be ashamed. The sliced brisket was ok, butt was half fat….the only real good thing here is the head country BBQ sause. The staff, well, its just work to them.

No silverware, just sprooks, you ever try cutting dry meat with a sprooks.
It ain’t happening.
Meal probably would be better if it was more fresh and not on a steam table.

Possibly the worst bbq I’ve ever had. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich meal. Pulled pork closely resembles that bbq you can buy in the grocery store in a tub. Absolutely gross taste and the bun was hard . It came with potato salad that was ok, at least I could eat that cause I wasn’t eating a second bite of that sandwich. As someone else said, the guy working behind the counter really needs to polish this customer service skills or not work with the public. I really felt like I was a burden to him for daring to order food. Lesson learned

Delicious breakfast burritos. I usually just get the grab and go ones in the convenient store side but having them make one fresh is so much better! The only thing that could make it better is if they used fresh fried bacon but other than that it’s top notch! I’d recommend getting it with onion, jalapeños, and hash brown on top!
