Had a lovely dinner with my husband . We each had a special for the night & we were not disappointed. The service was fenomenal & the atmosphere was quiet & romántico.

We went to Baci last night and it was a great restaurant. It’s simple inside, nothing modern or trendy – but indeed formal. The food and service were great! I got the salmon piccata, homemade pasta bolognese and burrata appetizer. All very nice and tasty and fresh. It’s a pricey restaurant and our server was wonderful.

We had a great experience at Baci.
They accommodated our reservation for a large party in a short notice. Their service was amazing. We had plenty of attentive waiters, and we were well taken care of even with a group with kids. Their plates were amazing. Especially the filet mignon, it was perfectly seasoned and it will just melt in your mouth like butter.
Ambiance was beautiful as well, our family dinner was a success thanks to Baci and Staff.

Wow, this place is so good! One of the best Italian Restaurants I’ve been to in a while. Great wine! Amazing food! The staff was very knowledgeable and fun! I had a chef special pork chop with truffle sauce and black truffles. So decadent, and tasty! My wife had the wild boar ravioli, which was also fantastic! We started off with mussels, barata cheese with prosciutto, and the octopus! Lastly, I had the creme brulee, and my wife had the cheese cake. All very very good. If you want authentic Italian cuisine with a down home feel. This is your spot. It’s worth all the time.

The new york steak was pretty good and cooked the way I asked medium rare.

The mashed potatoes were bland along with the asparagus.

I paid with a group of about 20 people and it was close to $4,000.

Even cesar salad was super basic for what you’re paying for which was nothing special. Honestly, maybe if I picked a difference dish it would have been better but I think other restaurants are way better or I can cook and season a steak at home with sides that taste much better.

Baci is hands down the best Italian restaurant in San Diego! Everything is crafted to offer an exceptional dining experience—from the warm and inviting ambiance to the outstanding service and remarkable food.

The menu is simply a masterpiece. And the daily specials take it to another level. Each dish is beautifully presented, with perfect timing between courses to enjoy the flavors. The taste? Absolutely jaw-dropping.

The grilled octopus, pasta with lamb ragu, Osso Buco, and finally, the crème brûlée were all outstanding and delicious.

Baci is a must-visit for any Italian food lover—or anyone who appreciates great food, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance.

Wen there for anniversary trip and found this based on Google reviews, stars, and location to the place we were staying in the Bay. This is classic, old school Italian. It exceeded our expectations. It’s on the hwy feeder road and not in SD’s Little Italy, which is a good thing. They provide their (limited) free parking for diners. The service was great and professional. They gave us their multiple specials of the day and I went with their suggestion. The Cosmo was excellent for my wife but the high end Marg, was a bit meh. Would highly recommend this place for those staying in the area and not wanting to deal with the hassle of trying to find parking in the food districts.

7* for sure. Consistently excellent food and service.
Dress well. No shorts. Suit or Jacket not required. Ask for the daily specials. Menu entrees are just as good. Super relaxed atmosphere. Bar is just as outstanding. $$$$$ and well worth it. Reservations recommended esp. on Wed and weekends. Italian food. You may bring your own wine bottle as well for a nominal table charge if you are very particular. Valet parking makes life easy.
