I tried their Cesar salad Mac and Cheese and pulled pork shoulder sandwich. I like that the pork wasn’t smothered in sauce . Sauces came on the side so to each its own. You can bathe in them, simply dip or forgo them.
The presentation is rather smartly done. The Caesar , oh well it’s a Caesar not much to say about it. The mac and cheese was rather tasty but could have stayed in the oven a bit longer to make it a bit less saucy. The pulled pork was tasty. I didn’t care for the brioche as it loses its texture too quickly. I’d love to try it on a French baguette or a sourdough roll with a crust and id add gruyere. Again the sandwich was good it just gave me ideas on how I’d try to enhance it.
Well done thanks chef
Have to order pig candy bacon .
If you in San Francisco you have give this place a go.
Thank you chef and waitress .
If this review has been a help let me know ❤️
The brisket stole the show: smoky, flavorful, and so tender I regretted not ordering a full pound. The Texas beef rib was a fun adventure—huge, meaty, and nicely smoked. I don’t usually eat beef ribs back home, but the Texan in me had to try it. Leftovers even made the perfect breakfast with eggs.
Pulled pork was flavorful and juicy—I skipped the sandwich so I could taste the meat on its own. (Pro tip: it’s just as good the next day in a quick sandwich.) And the mac & cheese? Creamy, cheesy perfection; true to the South. It could have been my #1, but I didn’t want to overshadow the BBQ. Leftovers from this meal fed me two more times—I basically walked out feeling like I got away with a steal.
A special shoutout to Jackie, the manager that night. She had the kind of warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. She even indulged my Texan request for pickles with my BBQ (no judgment here!) and walked me through their sauces—each one worth trying, especially if you mix them for fun flavor combos.
Bottom line: I’ll be back. Next time I’ll try more of their menu (and fingers crossed for peach cobbler!). If you’re anywhere nearby, it’s worth the trip. They blend Southern BBQ beautifully—and yes, this Texas girl gives it a thumbs up.
Also, the atmosphere/ambiance of the restaurant is through and through a Southern vibe! IYKYK

Love this food!! The server took the time to explain the different sauces and how the flavor profiles worked with the food. That was awesome.
We had smoked wings, smoked oysters, brisket, pulled pork, Memphis ribs and baby back ribs. Everything was awesome!! The Mac and cheese was, perhaps, the best I have ever had in my life. Like my grandma’s but better. That’s about as big of a compliment as I can give a restaurant.
Definitely the best barbecue on this side of the Bay.
The food here is excellent. They have a good variety of sandwiches and smoked meats and also barbecue plates. It’s a pretty good value proposition for what it is and we didn’t feel like it was overly expensive at all. I ended up getting smoked beef ribs with a side of macaroni and it was some of the best barbecue I’ve had in a very long time. It was actually enough to feed three people surprisingly. The brisket sandwiches were also amazing.
The restaurant also has a really cool vibe to it. Everything looks very rustic in the outdoor of the restaurant looks like it belongs in San Francisco. It seems like it has a lot of history. Everything was very clean, they have a bar, and the seating was well organized, and easy to find.
I had to take some stars off because there was an older gentleman that received us and was extremely rude. Our actual server was much nicer and enjoyable.
Other than the initial service, this is a great place if you want some good barbecue
Good BBQ is hard to come by in SF.
We showed up hungry from packing all morning… and it didn’t disappoint one bit.
Jeremiah seated us and took our order. He gave us the full run down of the menu and the amazing sauces.
We loved the beef rib, baby back ribs, pork candy, mac and cheese, and corn bread.
Great BBQ, vibe and service.
Tried lovely Memphis style ribs huge, tender, juicy, ready to melt in your mouth.
Brisket was tender but not falling apart with just good enough chew resistance, beautiful
Link fades in the company of these meats.
Side are great, and the sauces are in house made and delicious. Definitely habanero one was my favorite!
Couple of TV’s for sports. 2 unisex restrooms. 4 BBQ sauces to compliment the ribs. Outdoor seating available. Service was very friendly and hospitable.
