Probably some of the best sourdough bread I’ve had, and I’ve had my share now. Really nice crunch and soft in the middle. Long fermentation and whole grains make for easy digestion too. Definitely freezing for toast each morning while we stay in Longmont. Thank you Babettes!

Babettes is a great cafe to meet with friends, get some work done or as a nice way to start your morning. The chai is great and well spiced and the pastries are always great! Sometimes a bit too sweet for me, but that’s personal preference. They also have an instagram @/bab69pain which includes highlights on pastries and updates for holiday hours!

Meh, I had a chocolate croissant, if you can call it that, with the very little strip of chocolate you get in one bite in this huge pastry. Why bother? The chocolate itself was good though, just needs to be spread amongst the rest of the pastry. The flakiness of it was good. But I thought a bit too airy and needed more buttery flavor.

Absolutely delicious and amazing bakery. Great selection, I wanted to buy everything! They have coffee and you can get pizza too. We got there at opening and there was a line. It was my first time so I’m not sure if it’s always like that or it was because of Mother’s Day. Either way -worth the wait to get a delicious breakfast. I love blueberries and these were perfect. The right amount of blueberries and they were sweet and ripe. Highly recommend!

For 8 dollars a slice, the quiche shouldn’t be burnt. Also the chocolate croissant had a tiny sliver of chocolate in it and was overbaked. Not a great experience unfortunately.

Wonderful hidden gem. I had an almond/chocolate croissant and it was the best croissant I have had in the Denver area (I’ve tried many different bakeries). It is a fun spot to hang out and work remotely and they serve nice fresh coffee.

I’m a pizzialo from the east coast, I make Neapolitan pizza and I’ve tried almost every DC and NYC institution (2amys, Roberta’s, Kesté). That said this place is absolutely fantastic, the pizza quality is evident in the balance of ingredients they use in addition to the quality. The sausage is well executed and the pesto is a perfect balance of flavors on the pizza. The tomato sauce is well balanced with the acidity and “minerality”, it shines through the toppings and balances the creamy mozzarella used which is fresh and blistered just the right amount. The crust leoparding and and flavor is great, you can taste the natural starter they use which is no easy feat to accomplish with Neapolitan pizza. Pepperoni quality was alright, it was great it was pork only, as a friend of mine can’t have beef, but I wish it could have cupped a bit more with some more fat / oil coming out of it for more flavor. Lastly the crust is very digestible, you can smash more than half of the 16 inch pie and feel full yet light. Service here was also fantastic, everyone is very kind and helpful in answering questions and meeting dietary restriction needs!

Dropped in around 11 in the morning, before the pizza kitchen was fired up, and the bakery was busy and delicious smelling. There were only a few items for sale, but the quality of what they had was phenomenal. These are pictures of the croissant, the morning bun (the sugared spiral) and the lovely escargot de chocolate and pistachio. The pistachio paste was a startlingly vivid green, as you can see in the cut section. All the breakfast pastries were flaky, buttery, and delicious, but the escargot was utterly amazing, the dark chocolate was a bitter balance to the sweet and nutty green pistachio paste all swirled with the tasty, long-proofed roll dough.

I made the drive from Denver–totally worth the trip and then some. The pizza was divine, and the ginger molasses cookie is wonderful! Everyone I talked to was super kind. I absolutely look forward to visiting again so I can try more things plus I need to come when Primative is open across the street so I can do pastries and beer

Had a mean Mortadella sandwich. Two of them in fact because the first was so good.
