Very disappointing. 2 bites in the Mac and cheese was so mushy. Brisket was just fat and not flavorful only took a bite of the brisket.

Just made it on time today to try out Babe’s BBQ. I had never been there so I went inside and asked for a to go order. The lovely lady at the cash register said I had to order to go at the window outside.
I went back outside to the window and was informed I had just made it and would be their last customer today due to a crazy lunch rush. I was also told they were out of Brisket. I ordered the Rib Plate and Sausage Plate as well as the Jalapeño Poppers, Red Neck Ravioli (Mac and cheese mixed with Brunswick Stew), Baked Beans and Collards.
Bottom line one of, if not the best, BBQ Places in the Savannah area. Absolutely delicious! Next time I am trying their sandwiches!

Wow, this place went down hill fast. After waiting over 20 mins to place our order and the another 45 minutes for our food, I was informed that they run out of pork.. at 1pm.. I’d say if your hungry for BBQ, I’d look elsewhere.

I got the two meat plate with 2 sides and I really enjoyed my meal. The brisket is definitely a must. The pork was similar to bacon so I might recommend going for a different meat if you are not into that. Service was great and portions are good!

Really enjoyed the Brisket sandwich and Brisket Philly. Servers are caring and very helpful. Great local gem if you love BBQ. Always busy so don’t rush, just enjoy the local BBQ Try the onion rings!

A random stop that was well worth the time. This BBQ spot was on point. Between the sweet tea, smoked fried chicken, mac & cheese and the beans, I was in southern food heaven. It’s the kind of meal you have to go wash your hands after eating, or you are brining bbq sauce with you for the rest of the day.

Don’t turn around, don’t drive past. This was AMAZING BBQ chicken. Generous portions, friendly service and food that is making it difficult to type from drool on my keyboard. I am happily stuffed and can’t wait to try their other stuff. 11/10

The food was good. I definitely left full. And just being honest my expectations were high. I’ve been trying to come to this place and eat for a while and never could get in the door. So finally made it and got the combo plate so I could try everything. As far as barbecue brisket and some of the sides. Everything was good but I was a little disappointed on the brisket. I thought it was going to be a little better. But again it was still good. Just did not meet my expectations. But again, it was good. And I would go back. The service there was great. They made sure to take care of us. Very nice and friendly.
