Welcome to Mediterranean influenced comfort food! Baba is a restaurant based on comfort food with a Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Asian influence. We take the food we grew up eating and cook it using techniques and spices from around the world. It’s a version and inspiration of food using local, seasonal ingredients to showcase flavors that are new and different. We aim to create something approachable and as always, delicious. We lean towards a more casual feeling for brunch or dinner, every day of the week. If you’re just grabbing lunch or have a special occasion, we have the right meal for you!

First time visiting the place. We read a lot of controversial reviews but we decided to give it a shot. Our cocktails were good. I got caramelized pineapple mimosa and it tasted like a regular pineapple mimosa just $2 more expensive.
Warmed castelvetrano olives were disappointing. They tasted like warm olives, I couldn’t even taste the spices.
My oyster mushroom shashlik was amazing. It is served with Lebanese spiced potatoes and it was sooooo good.
My husband got Turkish Mac n’ cheese and it was okay. Too expensive for the taste.
Definitely try their Turkish coffee. It was very good!

I can’t. Not anymore.
I can no longer go to a Mediterranean restaurant and be satisfied unless it’s Baba. This has changed me. Gorgeous little place, could have used some candles on the tables, but clean, and fitting decor. Service was relaxed and on it as far as never letting you be without what you need. The food… layers of flavors that you’d not expect- even in a place like this. I’ve been to so many but nothing has left me staring at my mom across the table wondering if I should stomp my feet or walk to the back and thank the chef. Hit up during happy hour, the deviled eggs are amazing. Had to request without chili oil for my mom. The falafel/ wow. The WHIPPED FETA and pita. Come ON!- there are flavors that shouldn’t be allowed and I’m so glad they are. Never had a soft pillowy fresh one before. The chicken kabob..the caramel.. the chili flakes.. I could drink that. Used the rest of my pita to sop it up. Beef lamb kabob was stunning- almost at the top of my personal heat limit. Had the chocolate pistachio torte.. so good. I will have to come back next time I’m in town. PLEASE GO HERE.

Modern Mediterranean with an amazing Happy Hour! Staff are so friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and there was an array of small bite tasting options on the 3-5 menu- Try everything! The vegan options here are plentiful, the dishes are fresh, creative and packed with flavor. Highly recommend the smoky Baba Ghanoush and charred Oyster Mushroom Souvlaki Skewer.

This place is so dang good. I mean it’s by far the best Mediterranean food I have ever had, and my favorite things are traveling and food. The prices are UPPP there and I live in downtown Dallas. Thats the only reason for 4-5 stars. We had two house drinks, falafel and tzatziki dip and it was $94! That’s kinda crazy in my opinion.

This is a great Mediterranean Restaurant, located in a scenic area of Spokane Washington. I visited during happy hour and ordered several items from the happy hour menu and one for them from the regular menu; everything that I order was outstanding. The dishes had a very complex and bold flavors, and the service was outstanding. The happy hour menu was very affordable. This is a great place of you are vegetarian, there are many meatless options, as well as numerous meat options on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We arrived at baba later on a Saturday evening after arriving in Spokane for a relocation planning trip. This will probably be the first place we come to when we return! I cannot stop thinking about the Mezze Platter… just, wow. Flavor bombs galore! The flavors are bright and fresh, the pita warm and fluffy.
We tried the deviled eggs based off reviews mentioning them – probably won’t order those again as they were incredibly rich and had a lot of different flavors going on. Not terrible, just overwhelming in my opinion.
The service was pleasant and well timed and the atmosphere welcoming. A breath of fresh air compared to the entitlement we often experience in Bend, OR. Looking forward to returning to baba! Thanks y’all!

I come here pretty often and I can definitely rate Baba a 5 star. My favorite on the menu is the smoked chicken skewer, deviled eggs and for dessert the baklava. You can never go wrong with getting a dip with some fresh pita for an appetizer and a drink. Happy hour has amazing options with great prices! The music is vibes along with the rest of the atmosphere

Trying out this Mediterranean fusion restaurant certainly didn’t disappoint. My party of four actually all had the Baba Bowl (mine had kofta kabob) and they were delicious. If you nearly go all out with main entry, beers, dessert, and coffee – expect the bill to be over $200.
