This restaurant was recommended by a friend, and it truly lived up to my expectations ✨ The service was very friendly and attentive, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable
I especially recommend the shrimp fried rice — the shrimp was fresh and juicy, and the rice was perfectly cooked with great flavor.
For dessert, you must try their coconut ice cream . It’s refreshing, not too sweet, and has a rich coconut taste. Definitely one of my favorites!
Overall, everything from the food to the service was excellent. It’s a great choice, and I would highly recommend it. I’d happily come back again ✨

In the heart of Downtown DC, an unplanned stop for lunch turned out to be a delightful experience after our original choice was found to be closed.

We enjoyed a serene and satisfying meal, with the culinary delights being noteworthy, and as they say — a clean plate stands as the ultimate review..

The restaurant has a nice environment, friendly servers, and I had a good overall experience. The food is on the very sweet side. All dishes have their own character, which makes them interesting. The Lotus Root stater is a little too spicy for an appetizer. The pickled cabbage in Khao Soi Gai is a fun surprise.

Great Thai food in DC! The pumpkin stir-fry tastes just like Thailand, and the fried rice is excellent. Prices are a bit high, but the service is friendly and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Parking can be tricky, but overall worth the visit.

– fried lotus is fine. Shrimp is ok. Overall it’s too salty
– Crispy pork is not crispy at all, and not tender enough; meet quality does not seem to be high; fried rice is too salty and overly seasoned
– Coconut ice cream does not taste coconut at all, many stuff going on but fight with each other; sticky rice seems not fresh, peanut is a nice touch

It was my first time trying Northern-style Thai food, and it was delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, not overly strong or overwhelming, which made for a very enjoyable meal. The staff were friendly, and despite the restaurant being busy, communication was smooth, and service was quick. The place was clean and well-maintained. Overall, a great experience!

Baan Siam was an amazing dinner location selected for our large group of 20+. There was one young lady who served the entire group and she did a phenomenal job! We were seated at a long table near the kitchen and it was the perfect size and location. This is the best Thai I have had! Many in our group echoed similar sentiments…

We had an excellent experience dining at Baan Siam! The food service was excellent and quick and was the perfect amount of food. The lychee drinks we both got were delicious. One of the best Thai restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time. We were just visiting DC and went here spur of the moment after our flight got canceled and our trip was extended by a day, but absolutely would consider returning when coming back to DC in the future!
