This place started out so well. Now I can’t even get my fries cooked. They were so soggy (from being cooked in grease that wasn’t hot enough) that we couldn’t even eat them. This isn’t the first time this has happened, but it sure is the last. Save yourself some energy and time and go anywhere else.

We are from out of town and stopped in after a day at the ball field. . Although the reviews were decent, I could not have more disappointed with our visit. This dive bar restaurant is not equipped with AC, nor can their kitchen accommodate large parties. Not that their 2 staff members were not trying, the appliances could not keep up with the demand. We waited over an hour for our food to be brought out, even 86’d some items to free up the fryer so the kids with us could get their tenders. Their burgers were over cooked, dry and flavorless. Cheeseburger fries were literally a patty chopped up and thrown on top of fries…this should be taken off the menu. Beers come in cans, tea and water poured out of a jug, and the bartender/server had difficulty figuring out how to make a crown and coke. The bartender was a good guy, always making sure our drinks were refilled while we waited.
I would recommend their staff be more open with their customers, let them know if meals are going to take longer right off the bat. If the kitchen staff would have said their fryers wouldn’t keep up, we would have ordered accordingly.

Ordered from here 4 times. The first time, it was amazing, the burgers were perfect and the fries were crispy and delicious. The next 3 times, burgers were mid, and the fries were not cooked enough. Each time, I had to finish cooking them in the oven because they were barely cooked and floppy. Probably not going to give it another chance.

The burgers at this place are like what moms in the 90s gave you when you wanted McDonalds and she said, “We have burgers at home”–except if your mom was actually a fantastic grill cook. They are seriously good. I’m very picky about bleu cheese, but their black and blue burger is fantastic. Great fresh cut fries. Shrimp burger and chicken sammich also highly recommended. A casual place with a nice vibe. They do euchre every other Wednesday and sometimes have live music. A cool and cozy place!

Our server was also the cook and the bartender. Very nice guy but the food is absolutely delicious The burgers are definitely the best you’re going to get around Weirton if you don’t feel like cooking or busting out the flat top griddle.
