Joined some friends of ours for a Friday day night. You seat yourself when you walk in. The restaurant was busy, but the service was amazing. They have a standard menu, which is very good, but they also have a specialty menu that changes every 3 to 4 months. The food is very high end and is very good. I highly suggest trying menu items from the specialty menu. The prices are a little higher than chili’s or olive garden, but definitely worth the experience. We will definitely be back again.

Wonderful relaxing atmosphere, our waitress was so sweet and the food and drinks were all delicious! This was our first time there but it won’t be our last. Their chicken fried steak with foie gras gravy definitely lives up the hype, and my rack of lamb was cooked to perfection! We ended with the lemon blueberry cake, super summery and refreshing!

This place is a little gem! We popped in on a Wednesday evening and were very surprised, amazing staff and delicious food!! We’d definitely go again. Don’t skip on the tator tots, they’ll surprise ya! So good! Same with everything we had. Meat was cooked perfectly! Great atmosphere and overall good vibes.

I had my eye on this restaurant for a while and was excited to try it. A friend and I went this evening and never got an opportunity to try it. We sat ourselves as the sign said and no one acknowledged us. No Hi, be right with you. A couple came in after us and immediately they received water and was acknowledged. Even when we got up to leave, nothing. So we got up and went to Perry’s across the street and had a wonderful meal and service. This place may be good, but maybe not all are welcomed. Sad because I love to support local businesses. Very disappointed.

We just hosted a private event here. The service was above and beyond with staff that not only kept the food and drinks coming, but were also so friendly and personable. The food was so much more delicious and beautiful than we expected. I highly recommend B1895 Tavern for your next private event!

My fiancee and I have been wanting to dine at this establishment for a while now. The universe had a lot of jokes it played on us every time we tried. Finally, the other night the stars aligned, the universe smiled down on us and said proceed. To say this place exceeded expectations would be an understatement. We started the night with a couple drinks and the duck to start. I am very picky when it comes to duck, but holy duck, it was ducking amazing. The burger with cranberry jam, absolute perfection period end of story. The ribeye with mushroom marsala, makes my mouth water just thinking about it. It appears as if they make their condiments in house even, all of the dipping sauces from the fries were amazing. This will become a regular date night spot! Apparently they change the menu every couple months as well, I love that. I get tired of the same old monotonous menus!

Our experience started off rough, but progressively got better. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The initial waitress was a bit cold to welcome us and never greeted our table; no menu or waters for well over 5 minutes. Finally, we were about to leave when another waitress came over and brought us menus and was overall helpful.
The food was really good. Some of the dishes and sauces offer are a bit of a twist to traditional flavors, which can be hit/miss for kids. Also, no kids menu at any hours, but they do have burgers and chicken tenders that work.
Definitely a unique modern/chic atmosphere for Friendswood. Perhaps a good venue for locals to dress up and gather without going to Houston.
