What a pleasure it was to meet these wonderful people. They were vendors at our church function in Waycross, Georgia. After our church services were over, I stopped by to see what they had to offer, and lo and behold, they had the highly coveted OXTAILS! Rice, Lima Beans, Macaroni n cheese, and cornbread accompanied this meal. These had to be amongst the top three best tasting Oxtails that I’ve ever had. They were seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. The sides were just as good. I might have to take the hour long trip back to Waycross to get another plate. It was just that good!!!!

This is the real deal–everything delicious and priced fairly. So good that we ate here twice on our short visit to Waycross. Had the whiting and shrimp, chitterlings, oxtails and chicken sandwich. Everything first class. Can’t wait for our next trip to Waycross!

The food was amazing! We came with our family and we ordered the neck bones, chitling bowl, oxtail plate, and pork chops. There was so much food on the plates we couldn’t eat half of it! We shared our plates with each other and everything was amazing! I would definitely order here again!

My wife & I got food from here for the first time today. 10/10, highly recommend! The best service, the BEST food, and it only took about 5-7 mins to get our food!! I couldn’t even wait till we got out the parking lot before I was diving in! I will be coming here EVERY TIME in Waycross!!

The food, and the service is absolutely top notch husband got the oxtails and rice and said it’s the best he’s ever had, I had the meatloaf and it was amazing! I most definitely found my new spot for the best sweet tea in Waycross! You guys outdid yourselves and we were very pleased with every aspect of our dining experience here! The employees are exceptional, they constantly checked in on us and when we informed them it was our first time eating here, they went above and beyond to make it a great experience! Thank you, we will certainly be back!

Don’t walk here, run and run fast it’s that delicious. The food is true home cooking like your mom and grandma made.
I ordered the smothered chicken with white rice, green beans and macaroni and cheese. The green beans were cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. The Mac and Cheese was better than mine- so creamy and cheesy. The smothered chicken was tender and the gravy was phenomenal. Even the rice was tender and good.
This is a soul food lover’s delight! The menu is full of great main dishes with vegetables to choose from for days. The owners were very happy to share their beautiful stories of how the business opened and their love of the food and the people they serve. It’s all done with love and you can definitely tell it is true.
I can’t wait to make another road trip up this way so I can eat here again. Apparently you need to go before church gets out on Sunday or be prepared to stand in line and wait. Regarding desserts they were already sold out by 3 and from the list of the ones they make -homemade cakes, banana pudding and pound cake, they must be awesome.

Y’ALL!!! I’m here for work and just discovered this place. OMG!! I’ve had plenty of good food across the state, but very little to write home about. This one is a diamond in the rough. I get one day off a week (if I’m lucky) and find myself thinking about getting a plate for the six days in between. 1000% recommend!
