These reviews about the service do not match our experience. We ate there twice in the weekend, no reservations either time. One time we sat in the main dining area, second time we sat on a big comfy red couch in the bar. Sangria was delicious, large enough to share. Clase azul Margaritas were stellar. Lobster bisque was DELICIOUS. It’s the reason we came back again. We also had the cheese bread on the first visit. Also yummy. Rib cap, NY strip, and chateau we’re all excellent cuts of meat and cooked PERFECTLY medium rare from tip to tip. Mashed potatoes were whipped wildly. The consistency was insane, so so so so good. The service was amazing. They don’t bother you a ton, it’s similar to a European experience. They let you enjoy the food and ambiance, but are available if needed. I would highly recommend. We also tried the other “steakhouse” and it was not nearly as comfortable, flavorful, or high-end as B Prime. We’ll be back!

Had an 8:15 PM reservation this Saturday that I booked for my friend’s birthday. Upon walking in we were greeted by very unwelcoming women. They told us we had to wait a couple minutes to be seated so we decided to grab drinks at the bar. We ordered 3 “Beach Don’t Kill My Vibe” and a beer. The drinks were good but after a while we got bored of standing by the bar. I asked about three times when we were going to be seated (by this time it was 8:35PM), with no apology or compensation for anything they told us they had no tables and were waiting for people to get up. I understand things like this happen sometimes but with a “fancy restaurant” like this there should be more organization when booking reservations. Finally around 8:45 PM they told us our table was ready and when we walked over to the table there was no silverware and we were missing a chair.

In the previous space occupied by Bobby Flays steakhouse at the Borgata, you’ll now find B Prime. This is the second steakhouse in the casino after the Old Homestead. In hindsight, I should have stayed with the known entity of the Old Homestead. Started our dinner with an Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini that were made well. Continued with the Lobster Bisque that was salty, very little lobster, and tasted more like a creamy French onion soup. Main course was the Rib Caps with a side of Brussel sprouts. Steak was prepared perfectly at Medium Rare and though it looked small, it was filling. Unfortunately, I think my next steakhouse experience will be the Old Homestead as B Prime didn’t really impress.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I am confident they are being written by nearby competitors or a disgruntled previous Bobby Flay partner/owner/employee. I’m glad I ignored them. The service is impeccable. All servers were patient and treated you with respect. Our server even suggested we were ordering too much food at one point, which is rarely heard of these days. The truffle mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, loaded baked potato, crab cakes, and coconut shrimp were amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The kiwi drink was well made. The ambiance felt romantic, yet lively, just like Bobby Flay was. The prices were on par with the rest of the steakhouses. I will definitely be returning and recommending this wonderful establishment to all of my friends and family.

Food was not great. 72.00 dollar Delmonico steak had zero flavor. Expected better. Not upscale fine dining. Most patrons are dressed for the beach. Zero ambience. No spoon brought with lobster bisque. Servers are careless and aloof.

If the prices were normal, this would be 3 stars at most.

Food was not good. Was not impressed with food presentation nor the actual taste. Steak was HORRIBLE not ounce of season on it and it was dry and darn near burnt. Lobster was so tough I could barely chew it. This place is overpriced and for absolutely no reason. Horrible food. The chipole corn was AMAZING. Nothing else was good. Even the crab cake was unimpressive. We spent almost $500 for only two people. I would have been better off eating McDonald’s.

My wife ordered the scallops while I ordered their signature steak. Both were cooked to perfection. You can tell the waiters are long time employees – perfect for the job when describing the menu and making recommendations.
