Overall great atmosphere, fresh and high quality food, but poor service for someone dining alone.
Took a long time to get my order taken after being seated despite parties near me being attended multiple times before I was spoken to once.
I ordered a miso soup which came out quickly but the waitress rushed off and I never got a spoon. Never got a refill on my water either.
Food was lovely but it’s frustrating when dining alone means getting ignored.

Found another gem in our neighborhood. I love the vibe and how clean it is. Great selections of sushi and sashimi. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quantity and quality you’re getting. Service was very great and very attentive. Food was made at a pretty reasonable time. Both the sushi chef and the people attending to us were very welcoming. I’ll definitely visit often. Of course the food was amazing.

First I should say sushi is my favorite food. This place is the best sushi I have had in my entire life, my recommendation spicy crunchy California and bagel roll (if you like cream cheese please trust me it’s so good, even if you don’t maybe try it because you may start to like it!!) And the tempura roll is tasty. The tempura veggies also are a consistent order for me. Been going for 20 years now, and will always be back!!!

Best spot in West Seattle for affordable sushi! I’m glad that Azuma has reopened for dine-in. They are a consistent, cozy place for sushi in the junction and the only place I can still find miso soup for $2. Staff is friendly and the restaurant still has its cozy charm.

Went in for a quick sushi fix while shopping. Sat at the sushi bar and had Unagi and Ikura sushi and the California and Caterpillar rolls. Fish was fresh and delicious The chef and hostess were gracious and attentive. Perfection and great prices

Great food, great people. Love and care they put towards their craft shows.
Fresh and tasty food that hit the spot perfectly. Nothing beats hot ramen on a chilly day. Highly recommended.

We were randomly roaming the streets of West Seattle, away from all the touristic sites and stumbled upon Azuma. It was thanksgiving and most places are closed. We decided to give a go and lucky us it turned out a local gem.
First impression, Azuma Sushi is very clean. We were very hungry and ordered a lot of food and loved all the dishes.
My wife also tried and loved one of the Japanese bears.

We ordered Salmon skin roll( which extremely sour so hard to eat and the skin so much burnt can barely taste the original flavor), Unagi Nigiri (was great),Avocado roll (was good ) and the vegetarian roll (is extremely bitter could be the cucumber). My husband liked the chicken teriyaki he ordered. The food overall is okay..

We came in 15 mins before close so I’m very appreciative of them taking us in and letting us order dinner. The sushi quality is pretty good and I liked the noodle soup too. Preparation was okay and ate standard of the sushi was fair across all other types of sushi restaurants. If you’re in the neighborhood and craving sushi, I recommend to give them a try.

Azuma is fantastic. From their flavorful miso soup, too Japanese Curry, and of course sushi – every item is not only delicious, but appealing to the eye. I love the bagel roll, and their bento box meals.
