This was the most amazing food and service I have had in a while, and I will definitely be going back. I ordered the Carne Asada plate, abd everything was cooked to perfection. The food arrived very quickly for how busy they were. I had to park at the carcass because there were no available parking spaces, abd the line was out the door when we got there. We were seated quickly, a d all of the staff were well pra priced in dealing with the hustle and bustle their establishment brought. We were seated within minutes, abd our order was taken soon thereafter. We had our plates on the table and we’re eating within a matter of 10 minutes from the time our order was taken, and we were a party of four adults. The server was on point, abd when the server was busy with another t able, the owner himself came out and got us drink refills and more chips and salsa without being asked. I felt very welcomed and appreciated, and the food was delicious. 5 stars for Aztecas. I wish now that I had taken photos because the prese Station was also wonderful.

The chicken fajitas that I ordered came hot, juicy and the seasoning was *chef’s kiss* Meals come with chips and salsa for the table. Salsa tasted really fresh and was mild in spiciness.
Service was great. They kept up with refills and were attentive to our needs as we were a table of 8, including two young kids who were rowdy. They went above and beyond by running out after us to make sure we didn’t lose one of the kid’s toys. Thank you!

Nice little place with friendly staff and casual vibe. It was not the worst we’ve had in Junction but we are still looking for the Best. My chicken poblano enchilada was so under seasoned and needed a lot more of the sauce because it was dry. The rice was not “Mexican rice” just dry unseasoned brown rice. I’ve been searching for good sopapillas somewhere and sorry,Azteca, yours were just terrible: swimming in a pool of honey that made the flat, soggy ‘little pillows’ even worse- honey should always be served to the side. I took a few bites and left the rest of the plate and no one else liked them either. However, I would return and try fajitas or another dish here because of the atmosphere – no loud music overhead – and service.

Everything was great
The salsa was fresh and tasty.
My hubby got Chicken Crema dish and it was absolutely delicious.
I got tortilla soup, I will say it would have been better with shredded chicken, but it was still very good with chicken chunks.
